Do you guys think The White march expansion is worth it? I didn't get it when it was on sale, because i'm an idiot. so i have to think this through!

Checking :
10 x (-3) - 6 x (-3) = -30 - (-18) = -30 + 18 = -12
and 2 x (-3) - 6 = -6 -6 = -12

And how do you do that!? And why 4X-2X!? WHERE DOES THAT MINUS COME FROM!?

Sorry could not resist.
And if you're interested in how she got there, just use "math terms" for the words...

X = "a number" ... so "ten times a number" = 10X for example.

10X - 6X = 2X - 6
4X = 2X - 6
2X = -6
X = -3

Ah, baseball talk on the radio on a lazy Sunday. Good times. Pretty much the only way to spend a large chunk of a day I got a late jump on!

10X - 6X = 4X, that clears up the first part. And then you substract -2X from both sides to bring the 2X from the right part of the equation to the left side ;-)

If you take off 2X each side of the "=" side, the equation is still correct... the aim is not to have any X on one side of the "=" :-)
