I'm thinking those two Ultima games are gonna have a bit of a learning curve involved. Might be wrong, just the feeling I get. And then that reminds me that I need to sit down and focus on Wasteland 1 soon so I can play it, beat it, then finally check out Wasteland 2.

I swear, from here on out, I am going to be researching anything I might want heavily before buying or renting it.
Having not one, but two games in a row that are laggy as hell despite having graphics that look like they were pulled from an original Nintendo, any impulse I might have towards independent games is long frigging gone.
I'm not spending another penny on purchases made by people who can't get their shit together. I should not have to upgrade my system to play titles that are ludicrously bad in terms of optimization.

So...Crimsonland is pretty fun BUT at least once a chapter there is a level that is just a giant F YOU to the player and it makes the rest of the game seem less fun than it actually is.

It does seem like we get releases nearly everyday. I won't complain about that :-) Normally, Tuesday and Thursday are always release days, and we'll usually get a classic on at least one of those days (I guess Rayman qualifies as a classic), but brand-new games come out on other days too. With so many releases, it increases the chances of more space games :-)

Just a little good morning to the lovely folks of the thread. I hope you all have a lovely day, or as good a day as you're able at least. I hope those of you having rough days will find some relief soon.

It's been a rough week, but nothing worth writing about, so I'll complain about something trivial instead: I received another warped album from Amazon and am pretty sure I'm done ordering vinyl from them. I don't think it even has to do with how they ship them... must be something about how they store them.

Another thing actually worth complaining about: Why doesn't everybody get their own personal assistant to make them coffee in the mornings, at least until one is awake enough to make it for themselves? I mean, wtf? ;)

On a more serious note, I'm worn out but looking forward to a day that doesn't involve fixing broken and/or leaking things. I'm also not feeling even the least bit sick this morning, which is a pretty huge deal, and two of my favorite musicians / bands have new albums coming out tomorrow (one is even a debut of a new project, just with one of my favorite musicians as a member... I'm quite excited!), so things are looking up so far this morning. :)

**and oops, I just realized one of those albums already released earlier this month. It's still new to me either way. ;) Have no idea why I was convinced it was also a pre-order to be released tomorrow.
