moonshineshadow: *good evening wave* Yep, no assault charges here ;-) How are you doing?
-waves back- That's always good.

Can't complain too much here, how was your day?
avatar
moonshineshadow: No clue about the games and the prices, so no opinion on that :P
avatar
AgentBirdnest: Hmm... Well, any clue on why we are on the same page that we were 8 hours ago? Explain that one >:-|
Fred got tired and needed a nap and a relaxing time? :P

Well... nothing special, things could have been a bit better, but it was still in the ok region ;-)
Hellow Crow and Moonshine! *some extra hugs for proper measure*

Good to hear you are both coming along decently :)

I'm done preparing for tomorrow's laboratory work. I might go on and compose a bit, I've drawn up some little themes on the bus today.

Incidentally, I've also been harassed by old catholic gentlemen for reading an overtly atheistic book with an overly atheist title in plain sight on a public transportation vehicle. But that was fine and they weren't openly hostile anyway.

I mostly just get angry looks for percieved flamebaiting. And people avoided settling down next to me during the time I was wrestling through the satanic verses. But no death threats so that's okay :D

Oh wow. I mean, what the heck do people care what you are reading. I always hate it when people disturb me when reading while using public transport. That is why I often have a headphone on just to avoid that :D
Good evening. What have I missed?

And where I can get a flamethrower for erradicating cunts?
I'm still pissed at that a-hole from this morning.

In other news, today is Thufriday for me. Let's party!

superstande: Happy Whenever, Crow! :)
I'm just assaulting my mushroom soup at the moment, and its not pressing charges :P
Hope your Thursday is starting bright and you can enjoy the day!
Sounds like a good plan to me. Hope you're doing well also.

Pfft... He is always needing naps *rolls eyes* 9__9

Sounds like you had a B- day. Not the worst, not great either by any means.

Ow, I hate it when people do that! Somehow reading a book in public is apparently an invitation for pointless discussions. It makes people feel like they have a right to ask why you're reading it. >.>

Of course it doesn't help that I often wind up reading 'controversial' books on public transport, as my teachers tend to set rather interesting works. A while back I had one with a big explicit drawing of a woman on the front cover. Got a lot of stares over that one ...

I also listen to music when I'm not writing music out of the top of my head or reading, both at the same time don't go too well. If I'm listening to music I often give it all of my attention :)

But yes, it really is none of their business. I'm not usually bothered by dolts though, I think my appearance keeps a lot of people at bay (Big black Coachman's trenchcoat, long blond manes worn in a bless, boxy glasses and a brightly coloured shirt with gillet) :p

In fact, I've never been adressed by anyone about my choice of lecture before now. Mostly just stares and annoyed soft chittering between old ladies. Once a pair of young Turkish girls quickly moved away when I whipped out "God is not great" but that's about it. If they want to care so hard, let them; as long as they don't bother me over what I care for :)

Good evening Symmetry! *tight hugs and vanilla vla*

Haha, hier in Vlaanderen reserveren we het woord "seut" voor mensen van dat slag :) as in: "Wat een seut is me die kloefer/oen toch!"

I most often just enjoy music while staring thoughtfully out of the window and trying to not look at anyone. Humans are dangerous animals you know, I don't want to provoke anything :p

And we could most certainly do with more people reading controversial books ...

I do that all the time. To people I see reading the Watchtower.
I inform them that their juvenile fantasies of salvation through the rapture displeases the great and terrible Cthulhu and that they will find themselves devoured not first but last and their minds destroyed by tortures beyond what their feeble human brains can envision. There is no escape, their fate has been sealed and all shall die not in a rain of fire but in black despair at the tentacled appendages of a cephalopod-faced God.

I do the same thing at First Communion ceremonies. And now no one invites me to such events.

It's win-win!

Good evening! :) *hug* Oooh, nice, dessert!

Whahahaha, I'm learning some new terms today! :P Gonna remember those.

Yeah, I prefer to do that too, but sometimes when I'm taking lots of literature classes those few hours in public transport can really help to catch up on things. Unfortunately that usually involves the books that evoke reactions ... But then people will talk to you about anything. My hair is often used as an invitation to strike up conversations, but I've even had people talk to me about my earrings ... And not just a short comment either, no, this person went on and on ...

Haha, definitely! Gotta read something besides the boring stuff, right? ;) Although my favorite is reading Old English on the train, and you can just see people peer over your shoulder going: "what the hell kind of language is that even?"

I should try that sometimes. My old brother is quite into this type of literature and he has the anniversary edition of the necronomicon lying around somewhere in his students' home. I've been hearing great things about Cthulhu. I even wrote a short piece of music about this figure.

I'm also rather interested in pre-islamic Arabian paganism, but I haven't found much stuff on that pantheon yet. A lot of material got destroyed/outlawed and forgotten I guess.

If you ever want to hear something naughty and typically Flemish just ask, my father has university degrees in Dutch and English ... and he's from Antwerp, he's bound to come up with something :p

My rogueish looks mostly keep talkative people at bay. I wouldn't mind conversing with people, but I'm afflicted with a severe case of autism and doing a bit of banter simply does not work well, I suck at everyday conversations :)

I mostly prefer humorous sci-fi or fantasy books. Patrick 'o Brian and Salman Rushdie go down well to though. I often just read books as a divertissement of sorts. :)

Haha, I'll keep that in mind. ;)

I sometimes think I have a sign stuck to my head saying "please tell me your entire life story". Every random halfwit feels incredibly compelled to come up to me and strike up a lengthy conversation. Right now I'm doing an internship as a teacher at a high school, and I've been sort of partnered with another student, who is also doing an internship there. The problem is, he's incredibly insecure. And somehow he's decided that I'm the best person to share that with. Over and over again. Worse, he's quite incompetent and can't do anything by himself. I feel like an odd mix of his mum and his therapist. It's not good.

Oh yes, I like sci-fi too. And humor. Used to read a lot of fantasy but not so much these past few years. And I read a lot of classic literature for my study.

Well, I should go to bed, since tomorrow I'm taking on what is supposedly the most difficult class of the school. Wish me luck with this bunch of seventeen year olds with behavioral problems. :P

I wish you luck indeed; give those bastards hell :)

And have a good night's rest with many sweet dreams!
