EndreWhiteMane: You may not care for this game for too long then, I'd watch some let's plays first. I find watching my little ship putt along very relaxing, you may consider it very boring. ;)
avatar
CarrionCrow: I probably should have clarified. -laughs-

I don't have patience when it comes to someone or something saying, "NO. You can't do that right now."
But thankfully, I'm not so far gone that I can't enjoy something with a slower pace to it.

Watching a quickie Let's Play of it now, and I'm already liking the idea of gradually fleshing out the map, improving bit by bit until I'm finally able to hit every point and see everything.
IF you don't run out of food and have your crew eat you. :-)
It's got some wild ways to die. ;)

CarrionCrow: You mentioned that you had a friend coming over. Apologies if I got confused on what you said.

And there's no need for sir stuff. That is wayyyyy too formal for me. -laughs- =)

Just not big on seeing people that aren't shit treating themselves like they are.
Ho, yeah... I misunderstood. I thought you were speaking about the owlet's dad...
I won't ask my friend to babysit my kids :-D I think he'd be embarrassed... he doesn't have kids (nor want to) !
Things are looking up, the owlet's dad has come home and went do some emergency shopping... phew.

Glad things got a little better. ;)

On a side note:
It is 40F (4.4C), sunny with no wind. The snow is melting like a river. Yay!!!

gunsynd: Well,it looks like the old workforce trick.Provide info about employment and why we should keep you employed here. Also justify your job and how to improve your daily tasks further...
Off to the footy, see ya Crow:-)
avatar
penumbren: Nope, not for an employer. That's actually easy, because you have concrete things to work with and solid examples to provide. This is for freelancer websites, where I have to make myself sound amazing and hope somebody actually accepts a bid. I'm trying very hard to avoid going back to an office job, as the last few months away from one have been amazing, but working 10 hours a week is not cutting it. I'm going to go have breakfast soonish and then work on it some more - once I get it done for one site, I can copy and paste it into the others, so there's that, at least.
Ok:-)
Good Morning All:-)

Good morning. =)

I've been using this for years.

Once it's installed, all I have to do it turn it on and right at the top, it tells me what my processor type is, operating system, how much RAM and what kind of graphics card I have.

Not a problem. =)

It's a good program, like I said I've been using it for years to clean out the gigabytes of temp files, cookies and other crap that can build up using the internet.

If you find yourself in the market for a defragmenter, they have one called Defraggler, which is also a good program.

Defragger,I use is the windows version. Not keen on having too many apps on PC as they tend to slow down PC too much..

[noob question] What benefits do other defragmenters have over the standard Windows disk defragmenter?

I think Defraggler does a better job of defragmenting, personally.

It also shows me exactly what's fragmented and how much, so I can pick and choose what I want defragged when I don't feel like leaving it running to do the entire hard drive.
Also, this checks on my hard drive overall, tells me whether or not it's running properly, stuff like that.

Good afternoon. =)

Yeah, I like it. Haven't had a need to change it out for something else. With computers that's always a plus.
