NoNewTaleToTell: Ha. I'm supposed to be continuing my playthrough of Just Cause 2 (I played just enough to unlock free roam) but man...the voice acting is terrible (in a non-entertaining way) and the story seems to be really stupid (again, in a bad way). I'm not sure if I can push myself through the missions, although the core gameplay is really fun. Well...the grappling hook is fun. Pretty much just the grappling hook...and what fun it is!
From what I'm recalling, it's one bad Asian stereotype accent after another...
Had forgotten about that til you mentioned it.

Oh yeah, the story's not great. Seems like it boils down to "destroy everything". Not a bad goal, but an epic tale, that is not.

That looks like Ice Bear from "We Bare Bears".

Also, as I told Mr. Whitemane there, you could win the bottom tier of the bundle on this thread. You'd have a pretty good chance at it, too.

So I picked up Saviors in a dirt cheap bundle on Steam earlier...it's a decent shmup. I'm currently stuck on the first real big bad, due in large part to somebody deciding they had to have a (completely pointless) conversation with me even though they could see I was busy.

Also in that bundle was Waveform and Revolution Ace. Revolution Ace I already owned, it's a decent but not great shmup as well.

Gundemonium Recollection is still my favorite shmup, I highly recommend it. Tyrian 2000 is great too but for some reason I've gone from being good at it to just completely sucking. I want to give Bullet Candy a try, the dev has a bundle over on Itch.io featuring Bullet Candy and a couple of other similar games he's made, they definitely look interesting.
