Well I had better call it a night. I probably won't be on much for the next few days, if at all, as I have a lot of work to do towards the end of the week. So I hope you all have a nice week.

Goodnight, Owl and l0rdtr3k. And goodnight anyone else stalking the thread. :-)

Thinking of something I saw on Polygon - the "Four in February" challenge of taking any four games in your pile, regardless of how far you might be in them, and finally beating them.

Four days in and I've already got one done. (And a really awful one that I'm thrilled to see gone, at that.)

So, which one's next?

Not sure. If I want a relatively quick finish, I can finally stop stalling and wipe out Dragonfall. Think I'm about 80, 85 percent done with it.

Other than that, Runner 2 looks fast if it doesn't get seriously sadistic, already finished the first world on that one completely.

What about you? Anything you've got that you could finish off?

Viking Saga and maybe Shadowgate. Both are pretty short games. I may make through Baldur's Gate in time for the 2025 contest. :-)

Aren't you supposed to START and finish the games in February ?... :-)
Sounds too easy otherwise...

Nighty night, everybody !!! :-** see you tomorrow !!

Nope, it can be games in progress. The whole thing is just to make your backlog a little bit smaller.

Goodnight, sleep well when you get there. =)

It's not that long. -laughs-

Keep plenty of arrows and magic missile spells handy for enemy mages, and you've got it in the bag in 100 hours or less. =)

I can only play games for a couple of hours a day without driving my nerves all buggy so these things take time. :-)
Can't believe I used to do networking all day and Linux scripting most of the night. I think I bwoke my widdle bwain. ;)

Or you just got sick of it.

(And to clarify, I'm not necessarily referring to a conscious, "I can't stand doing this anymore!" type of thing.
Not sure about you, but there's been more than once that my mind has essentially gone, "Kiss my ass, not doing this anymore." and that was that.)

I've run across people who are, to put it politely, all kinds of fucked up mentally. People for which the term "broken-brained" would be a vast improvement.

That's not you.

Fried nerves don't add up to a broken brain. Hell, fried nerves seem like a natural progression over time, unless you spend every moment with your mind in the clouds and your head up your ass, and that's a whoooooole different set of problems.
