You're just jealous that you missed it all. :-)

How are you tonight? Have you had a good day?

Press 'Record'.

CarrionCrow: True. It'd save on running. Guess it depends on what the person's looking for in the experience.

Granted, I'm no great archer to begin with, but if I was that irate, my aim would probably be for shit even if I did know what I was doing under normal circumstances.

ddickinson: I love archery. I prefer older bows, not these modern ones with weights and pulleys. My absolute favourite is my treasured English longbow. The power behind it is incredible. Have you done much archery?

CarrionCrow: Hmm, looks interesting.

I noticed this one yesterday.
Hopefully it comes to GOG when it's out of early access.

Super-hard turn-based RPG, and the characters all go insane to boot? Sounds like fun. =)

EndreWhiteMane: I saw that when I was looking around yesterday, does look pretty cool. The little wild west one just makes me laugh, which is a good thing these days. :-)
Nothing wrong with that. Everything can't be super serious all the time by any means.

Phantasmagoria 2, for example. It might seem like it'll be scary, but if you're not laughing your ass off due to sheer ham and cheese overload, you're taking it all more seriously than the people who made the frigging game did.
I'm wondering if I could train my mind to become so overly zen, as that I can spawn an imaginary girlfriend?

Like there are zen masters who can sustain themselves upon fictional tea, I could sustain myself upon her fictional cooking.

I imagine I'd still need to do my own laundry though... :/

I would not have to tolerate anyone in my vicinity, because she would after all be part of MY fiction, and if she had a kinky alien look, I wouldn't have the feeling to be sharing my living space with *snirf* another human either.

Not a bit, actually. It's something I'd like to try, though. I think there's a modern bow around here somewhere, would need to get some target arrows for it so I'm not ruining ones with flesh-tearing tips or something.

Not too bad. Have random pins and needles in my foot which won't go away, but hopefully it's nothing serious... the internet suggests diabetes or MS but as I lack any other symptoms I doubt it. So I've stopped looking. Probably go to the doctors tomorrow and see what they say, most likely get more exercise.

Not been up to too much, just struggling with Noise functions and playing Lords of Xulima.

LaPtiteBete: Good evening everyone !!!
...
Wow. How the hell did this conversation come out ?! :-D
avatar
ddickinson: *slowly raises hand and looks a bit embarrassed*

I think it may be my fault, I mentioned DRM condoms. :-)

How are you this evening?
DRM condoms ?!... Ô__Ô

Similar, yes. It's a lot harder to draw fully than most people think. Did you know that a properly strung English Longbow needs about 100lb of draw strength.

I'm actually not allowed to use my longbow all the time. I had it confiscated by my partner because I was having too much fun and kept getting carried away, especially as I was using real bodkin arrows, not practice arrows. :-)

Yes I do, cost me 3 stitches when a nock came loose and gouged my left wrist. <ouch>

I hope it isn't anything serious. Probably just a circulation problem, usually they are only temporary.

How are you tonight? Is your adorable owlet fast asleep?

going out for a walk through the fields (the propechy of the news paper might come true yet!), and then I'm going to bed.
Who knows what I'm going to dream about with all this sensitive talk on this thread tonight...my virgin fantasy is in overdrive ;)

Have a good time!
