LaPtiteBete: Heeheehee ^__^ excellent !!!

ddickinson: There were other dirty old man pictures I could use, but this one was one of the few to not have lots of half naked ladies on them. :-)

avatar
EndreWhiteMane: Love it. AND it's so true, I'm not THAT old. :-)
avatar
ddickinson: I don't even think you are a dirty old man. I picture you more and a good old fashioned gentleman. Now just put down those binoculars and stop watching those cheerleaders. :-)

avatar
l0rdtr3k: *hugs*
I'm really sleepy. I unable to sleep well for the last few weeks. Please spare me of 40K stuff,I'm just with a bad case of insomnia.*cuddles*
Good afternoon senpai,I'll go to sleep now.
avatar
ddickinson: I hope you have a good sleep. *hug*
I don't spy on cheerleaders with binoculars you silly girl. Field's almost a mile away, I use a telescope. ;)

EndreWhiteMane: <snip>
Something completely different. When did you change your user title? Did I miss something? :-)
avatar
LaPtiteBete: I love your duet... !! :-D
I am of course only playing. Even if Endre was a dirty old man (and I don't think he is), he is definitely the nicest dirty old man I know. :-)

I knew that giant telescope was not for star gazing. :-)

Yesterday when we were fooling around with avatars. ;)

Are you still not letting people stand on your lawn? That's a shame, I just called your local University to send over some people to help cheer you up after you bad dream. But if you really don't want anyone on your lawn, then I will just tell them to go back to campus. :-)

It is really good that avatars are back to normal. I hate these changes since I tend to look at the avatars when reading peoples posts. Yesterday was horrible :D

Oh shite.
avatar
EndreWhiteMane: Oh shite.
That will teach you for not letting us young folk play on your lawn. :-)

So how are you today, other than the bad dream? I hope the weather is not too bad at the moment?

-8C, other than that sunny and pretty nice. Have to go run errands soon so I'm glad the wind settled down.
How is it over there today?

FearfulSymmetry: Tea! In fact, I think I'll really have some of that right about now. And any music is fine with me, as long as it's not jazz or classical. I have an aversion to both. :P

Edit: And rap. And heavy metal. :P
How can you dislike jazz and classical music? :O That's blasphemy! :P

avatar
LaPtiteBete: I listen to a lot of things... I have a soft spot for 70's classic rock (pink floyd, emerson lake & palmer, neil young, alan parson's project, caravan...); or rolling stones, david bowie, sting...
How about 70's pop music? ;)

avatar
LaPtiteBete: ...
avatar
ddickinson: Okay, enough talk of tea and no music. We can't let those boys think we are boring. So we will let our lovely French owl decide what the drinks will be and we will play her favourite type of music. So what will it be? What drink catches your eye and what music shall we play?
Tea is not boring? I feel like i should be offended now. :P (not really, just kidding. But seriously - tea is the nectar of the gods ;) )

avatar
adaliabooks: Never. I hate DLC and exclusive content, I hate micro transactions. The whole idea is to make a game I want to play. And that means one flat price that gets you a full game :)
avatar
ddickinson: That's the spirit. I can't stand this culture of DLC and micro transactions. Those darn spoilt kids are ruining the gaming industry, they have more money than sense :-). I want the old days back where I bought a game I actually owned, and a game that was complete. Not a poorly designed, often incomplete game cut up to get more money. Flat priced you say? So we might get one new release on GOG that doesn't use regional pricing. :-)
I think the blame lays mostly on the big game companies rather than the customers that we have the dlc culture and micro transactions in modern games.

My day has been quite nice so far. Lots of snow, but no strong winds. Just about finished the first greenhouse, so now just two more to go. :-)

FoxySage: I think the blame lays mostly on the big game companies rather than the customers that we have the dlc culture and micro transactions in modern games.
But if the customers didn't keep paying for such horrible practices, then the games companies would stop doing it. Take DRM, for example. If all gamers refused to buy games with DRM when it first started, do you really think the companies would have kept using it? Nope, we would have our games back. But because people keep throwing money at these bad practices, the companies keep doing it.
Off to errands now, see you all later.
