ddickinson: The most I sleep is probably Saturday night/Sunday morning, when I sleep about 8/9 hours. But that's just because I enjoy spending some time off in a nice warm bed with my partner. I could quite easily get up after 5 hours like normal and enjoy the day, but my partner sleeps more than I do (about 8 hours a night), and its nice to wake up together now and then, rather than me always leaving the house at 5am.
Sounds really nice. You are making me envious ;-)
And getting up at 5am. Wow that makes you even more awesome in my eyes than before :D

LaPtiteBete: Two (and a half) out ! but less than a millimeter... it takes so long time... she'll turn 15 months old tomorrow ! ... :-/
Poor little owlet, and poor owl mummy. I hope it won't take too long for the rest to break through the gums.

Early morning are common on a farm, especially if it's a family farm with a lot to do. But again, I'm used to it now, to me it's completely normal.
Hello all.

I used to need loads of sleep and be terrible in the mornings, but I'm a lot better now. Hardly need much sleep at all these days. Now I just stay in bed for half the day out of laziness XD

ddickinson: I like them, they are an enjoyable read, for the most part. They are by no means a masterpiece of literature, but for a bit of fun and casual reading, they are nice, especially the Imperial Guard novels. I guess the fact I like the setting (the future crossed with the First and Second World Wars) means I am probably more inclined to like the books. I know many hate them, which is fair enough, but I don't find them any worse than a lot of the horrible books we get flooding the marking today.
I'm hesitant to buy books these days because so many of them are just crap. You read the back and think it sounds interesting and then it turns out that a five year old could probably have done a better job. It makes me wary of buying books by new authors, which is a real shame. The price of easy publishing I suppose.

I know what you mean. It's got a lot worse these last few years. That's one of the few advantages of a Kindle, you can get a free sample of the book, and sometimes the many sales means you can get books relatively cheap. I prefer paper books a lot more than ebooks, but my partner decided I needed a kindle, as we are running out of room to store my lifetimes collection of books. :-)

The Kindle Paperweight is not too bad, I can read quite easily with it, but you can't beat the smell and feel or a real book. :-)

Awww, that is one cute owlet. She is adorable. I bet she can be quite the hand full though. My brother has a 1 year old and he is a little terror, just like his dad. But he is also so cute that you can't stay mad at him no matter what he does. :-)
*hug* Good morning senpai. Sleept well?
And the rest of the forum, how're you guys doing?

Thanks, DD ! :-) You're right, she's sometimes "quite the hand full". She already has some sturdy character (after all, she's a baby angry viking owl !) ; but she is lovely most of time...

I'm sure she will grow up to be a wonderful Viking Owl, just like her mummy. :-)
Nothing much outside of buying some Star Wars games. But I can't decide which one to grab.
*hugs again* I'm a cuddle bug in real life too.Always looking for hugs.
