By the way, are any techies present in the thread? Yesterday there was some discussion on the galaxy client. And I came up with the notion of a galaxy client that allows multiplayer of old games through the same function as GameRanger. How feasible is that?

It's pretty much always cracked. As the temperature changes the ice expands and contracts and you get ridges and cracks all over. When I said we literally took a truck load of beer on the ice, I mean we threw a bunch of beer in the back of my truck, and drove it out on the ice.

I know I'm a traitor but Skyrim Legendary Edition for $10.61 was impossible to pass up. ;)

If you get bored, look for something on Youtube called Turkey Shoot. It's cheery holiday fare, and I recommend it to anyone who wants to get in a fun festive kind of mood. -laughs- >=)

(Or....ya know....anyone who feels like saying to hell with it and kicking back for a low-budget, hyperviolent Australian B-movie from the 80's....whichever. ;) )

Was going to mention this at some point - Noticed what you were looking at earlier while running through sale pages. Suggestion (if you have the coin, feel so inclined and won't get buried in duplicates, of course) - go for the 70 dollar franchise pack. It's what I'd run with if I didn't have bits and pieces of the whole thing.
DOW 1 is definitely worth it, even with the rehash fiesta that is Soulstorm.

Additional - shut up, brain. You saw what our desktop looks like. I have neither the time, the inclination, nor the sanity to do a full runthrough of Dark Crusade AGAIN.

My wallpaper is just plain blue, can't find stuff with a busy screen. Lots of game icons on there though. ;)

Looking at mine, I need to nuke what's just sitting there, look at what people were kind enough to gift to me, then put those up as my next runthroughs. =)

Would love to, but the main problem is coin, duplicates, not so much, I only own the original DoW and DoW:DC.
Also, I'm not so keen on the multitude of DLC, most of which are skins.

That might sound strange coming from a WH40K fan, but I never got into the wargame itself, too expensive. But I fell in love with the over-the-top ridiculously grimdark (they coined the term), cranked up, not to 11, but to 23 setting.

Nowadays I think it has imploded under the weight of its own popularity and a-holes like your spiritual liege breaking the codexes to benefit their favourite chapters. Well Rogue Trader was and will always be freaking awesome.
