EndreWhiteMane: This is new, and kinda cool. ;)
Not a bad thing to have if you want a bit of on the fly into to check at a glance.
Makes me wonder what else GOG Central's got up their sleeves, if the problems people are having is because they're in the midst of upgrading the whole system or what.

EndreWhiteMane: Yeah, all of the game details, I like it.
I think I preferred it before, where it showed the reviews as well, not just show part of a sentence and no actual review. It seems like a sneaky way to persuade people to get the game before reading the reviews.

Am I missing something? Before there were no details on that page. :/

Yep. I also thought that before on promo pages there was nothing *confused now*

You may be right, sorry about that. I think I was getting it mixed up with the redeem a gift screen, where you select a game and it gives you a brief overview and some reviews. That's what I get for trying to remember things when I'm exhausted and tired. :-)

Carry on, nothing to see here, just pretend I said: "Yes that is such a lovely feature", and nothing else. :-)

P.S. If I remembered that wrong and it's not the redeem a gift screen, then please just ignore, as I don't know what else I could have been thinking of.

I think I will follow your advice. :-)

ddickinson: I enjoy reading the books, I know they are not masterpieces, but I like the universe (especially 40K) and they are a nice easy read. But lately, all the novels are just getting so poor, with the same old story. I prefer the Imperial Guard novels, as they have a lot more human aspects to them, rather than the unstoppable Space Marines. I do read some Space Marine novels (the Soul Drinkers saga is quite different for a Space Marine series), but I try to pick those with a bit of story to them, not just a glorified battle report. GW really are just running it into the ground. The strange thing is, the fans keep telling them this, but they just don't listen, like most big companies.
I haven't read many of the books. I think I got up to Demon Slayer in the Gotrek and Felix ones, but I don't think I read any of the 40k ones.

adaliabooks: Never. I hate DLC and exclusive content, I hate micro transactions. The whole idea is to make a game I want to play. And that means one flat price that gets you a full game :)
avatar
ddickinson: That's the spirit. I can't stand this culture of DLC and micro transactions. Those darn spoilt kids are ruining the gaming industry, they have more money than sense :-). I want the old days back where I bought a game I actually owned, and a game that was complete. Not a poorly designed, often incomplete game cut up to get more money. Flat priced you say? So we might get one new release on GOG that doesn't use regional pricing. :-)
That's the plan :)

Goodnight, sleep well when you get there. =)

Rest well, you deserve it. ;)

Now Steam is broken, it's an epidemic. ;)
Crow, what do you think of Valkyrie or whatever it's called?
Edit: Valkyria Chronicles

Well, I just ran the intro, but man, does it look all kinds of anime. -laughs-

Music's nice, graphics for the cutscene were nice, I just wasn't ready for the massive exposition dump that I know is coming before my first chance to actually have a battle.

Thanks, just going through my wishlists. I can afford like one game this month and I think I'll wait a while longer.
Like I need another anyway. :-)

In that case, I'd say wait for Valentine's Day, see what GOG's throwing out for a sale.

Just afraid I'll spend my money on something stupid by then, like food. :-)

-laughs- Oh yeah, you totally don't need any of that food stuff. Totally overrated.

What are you hoping hits a sale before your extra cash runs out?
I keep waiting on Battle Chess and In Cold Blood, but I'm getting nervous after Scratches being pulled with no warning whatsoever.
