Not having coin for goodies sucks, to put it mildly.

Your telling me... still, hopefully the drought will be over by the end of this month or next when the work is available again in earnest. Have to be a bit more careful this year so it's not so bad this time next year though. But I'm sure there will be spare cash for games every now and again.

And in the meantime hopefully I can get my game to a state to put something on Kickstarter. I keep looking at that Oatmeal card game and thinking if they can raise $5 milllion, then I should be able to get a few thousand to fund my project... just need to have something to show first XD
Just so I know where to start, are you more interested in the campaign mode or the random skirmishes in this kind of game? I imagine from your play through of Soulstorm it's probably the campaign but I just thought I'd check since you are funding my testing ;)

As far as all that goes, play whichever you like.
The game tester thing was me being silly, go with whichever mode you like. It's your game, after all. What matters to me is that you enjoy it.

Playing it now, it has a windowed mode which is something in its favour (and I never thought I'd say that, lol).
It's not quite like anything I've played before, so I can't really compare it to anything. It almost reminds me of a board game though.. something like Risk. Still getting my head around how it all works.
