EndreWhiteMane: Hey Crow.
I got my desktop somewhat arranged too, now I can't find a damn thing. ;)
What are you waiting for? New Years is a ways off.
Hey there. =)

Waiting to see what the rental sale tomorrow looks like in between waiting on stuff to download to finish off my horror-related game display.

Didn't see that that were having a sale, oh boy. ;)
I'm saving my pennies for Age of Decadence, I spent a while on the net figuring out how to get it run really well on this machine and so far the demo is awesome. Very different game.

Right now, it's looking like the current mini GOG sale, another GOG sale that'll be timed to get the jump on the competition, and two sales from the competition, one from tomorrow til the 1st, the other from the 22nd of December til the 4th of January.

Just blew out the Star Trek bundle, will be hitting the Gold Box bundle before it's gone, but Age of Decadence is also on my list. It looks interesting.

The thought occurs that with my desktop looking the way it does, I probably should sit a few (dozen) sales out. But I won't.
On the bright side, I'm fairly certain your setup doesn't have the same "crazy person OCD on parade" look as mine, despite problems with not being able to find things.

Mine's not quite that bad but then again you either have higher resolution or figured out how to make your icons tiny. :-)

Must be resolution. The monitor here gets 1920 by 1080. Don't think it's an icon size thing, since I've got them at medium. Small's too frigging hard to see. It also ruins the nice look of the icons when they're all smooshed down.

That's the same res as mine but I don't think Vista has an option for icon size.
Besides if I made them smaller I'd just have room for more. :-)

Think you just mentioned the root of the problem there.

Not sure which one is the absolute worst, but Vista can give Windows 8 a run for its money.
Good morning Thread and its both citizen and visitors!
Not able to hang around here much which is a pity for there seems to be lots of cool stuff discussed.
But I'll be back later, maybe tonight or on friday to mumble about hammer films and wasteland 2 ;)

Oh, by the way... have you people checked out upcoming tab lately? ...looks delicious :)

Note to self - start keeping extra pick-me-ups around for overly quiet evenings.

ddickinson: That part of US history has just never really interested me, plus the story sounded a little dull to me. But I remember you and Owl saying it was not a very good game. So either way, I would definitely skip it. :-)

ElTerprise: Concerning A Golden Wake...(also on my backlog)...i like the Twenties setting in general but i prefer the European perspective (aka the Golden Twenties rather than Roaring Twenties). Mainly because i'm a Weimar Republic nostalgic cultural wise :)
I was not really interested in the setting either before I played it. Dunno why, it just "clicked" with me somehow :-)
It was not a terrible game, but I didn't think it was really great either. I said "I'm glad I played it, but would probably never play it again." However, as time goes on, I must admit that I do have a little itch to play it again :-p Still, it is a long way from being a game I'd recommend to anyone.
Good morning, everyone!

How are you all on this lovely autumn morning?
avatar
AgentBirdnest: Of course :-p It's filed under my "Agent Training" tag. Gotta keep my skills sharp ;-)
avatar
ElTerprise: That's true. What else is under this tag?
Puzzle Agent series, Commandos series, Secret Agent, Jazzpunk, Spycraft, Covert Action, Hitman series, Deus Ex series, Thief series, Signal Ops, XIII, and Teen Agent :-)

I guess it must at least be better than Blackwell. I hear those games have terrible storylines. ;-)

Shouldn't your cousin be called Fall? :-)

I am good, thank you. Although I have been up for quite some time as I did not really sleep too well. But nothing to complain about.

I was only joking about Blackwell. I have heard lots of good things about it.

*big hug for Agent the hissing snake-man*
