tinyE: In closing I'd like to point out to any possible future guest that WE DO NOT purchase our fruit, produce, or meat there! So relax. :D

budejovice: Do you know how close to Mt. Arvon you are, tinyE? It's Michigan's highest point.

It would be fun to experience the tinyB&B some day when i get up there...
Looking at a map I would guess 2 to 3 hours North of there, depending on traffic. I'm at the top of the UP.

ddickinson: I'm good, thank you. I went for a fly in a Tiger Moth earlier today, and I'm still happy about that (it was awesome). I don't really drink much these days, just a few glasses of wine now and then, like today with my dinner. I hope you have something nice to drink.
So wait, you were shrunk down and then rode the moth or it was a giant-sized moth that you then boarded? I wasn't aware that UK scientists had perfect genetic manipulation to that degree!

As for drinking.

Pics or it didn't happen. ;-)

ddickinson: I just noticed that I got the 8,000th post. So...where the hell is my prize!? This is the second time now that I got a big number, and still no prize. You boys are so mean. :-)

[...]
It's not big enough yet! ;-)

And you keep asking for a prize, but where's the party, huh?!?

Wow! Are you a pilot yourself?

budejovice: That specific demographic is a 20+ year weakness for me. The first Brazilian I ever met spoke 7 languages, was 6 feet tall, and had spent the previous 5 years modeling in Milan...

Here's the other C.A. dev (@Vallisca3x3x3) taunting the composer that claims copyright infringement.

Like many folks have mentioned elsewhere on the forums, the best thing about this game coming to GOG is the potential interaction of the devs with us. :)

EDIT: formatting issues...
1.I tend to feel intimidated when I meet most non-Americans since they usually know at least two more languages than I do, which I tend to equate with intellectual prowess. The only tongues I know are "American" English and various dialects of Dwarven, and a smattering of orcish and elvish for insults.

2.Wow, talk about an obnoxious attitude and, if his twit avatar resembles him, a perfect face for punching.

Ragnarblackmane: Hot Brazilian chicas make everything better, it's scientifically provable.

So way up there past Houghton? Keweenaw Co.?

If so, here is a fascinating report on visiting the highest point of said county: http://cohp.org/mi/Keweenaw_1.html :)

That is a fascinating piece of land. I feel your isolation just looking at a map! :)
Hey Crow, what about shitty racing games? What comes to mind of a game that you played or want to play?

We don't, we had a giant moth shipped over from Japan. Godzilla had just given him a beating and he needed somewhere to recover. :-)

But this is the Tiger Moth I was referring to.

Good point, why haven't you given me a party yet, Hyper? Come on, I want my party and presents. :-)

Sadly not, but I definitely would love to learn someday. The aeroplane I went out in was a dual seat and dual control biplane. I was supposed to get a little play with flying it, but the winds were too strong. I only went a long for a bit of fun, not a lesson, so it was okay just enjoying the open topped flying.

Sounds like a heck of a way to spend a day! The oldest plane I have been in is like a 1970s DC-9. :)

l0rdtr3k:
For me, Megarace is coming to mind as something that would fit that bill.

I tend to run into walls even with decent racing titles, so screwing up in that way due to bad controls wouldn't be anything terribly interesting.
But Megarace takes what looks like generic racing at best, then makes it insufferable with the FMV's that are included.
That level of shittiness is what appeals to me.

It was a very nice way to spend some time. I was not up for long, sadly. I was just tagging along while my friend tested the plane one last time. She repairs older planes and sometimes restores a few more of them for resale. I love the older aircraft, especially the Second World War era planes. My dream plane would be a Spitfire or a Hurricane, and even better if I was able to fly it myself. I would be one happy lady. :-)

Are you a pilot, or just a passenger like I was?
I'm a pilot in the Canadian Air Force.
