ddickinson: Hey now, just because I don't watch it much doesn't mean I have anything against it. I just don't find it that interesting in general, and adverts drive me crazy so I am much happier with a good book instead. :-)
Haha... I didn't mean you were against it. I don't watch much either. Not really at all in the last year, in fact. I get a really strange feeling when I do - it makes me want to jump out of my own skin ô__ô ... It's fine though, I don't really miss it at all.

I think with DVDs etc and online (add free) streaming services more and more people are not watching as much traditional TV.

That's true. I don't really watch DVDs either. I'm awful at watching things :-p I like to interact with what is on my screen.
It has only been that way for a year or so. I think being in the hospital last year is what changed it for me. The timing matches. I had the TV on in my room almost the entire time. Maybe I subconsciously worry that I'll have to go to the hospital again from watching TV :-)

That is a strange coincidence, and one that might make a little sense given how strange the brain is. Do you tend to read a lot more now that you don't watch as much TV?

Yeah, I do. I don't read many books though. I spend a lot of time reading various topics online. Quite a lot of history. Though lately, I'm having trouble reading anything at all. Hopefully it's just a random phase, and it ends soon...
And, well, of course I read the forums a lot :-p

I love reading a lot of history as well, I always have. Sadly for ages now I have not been able to concentrate too much on reading due to my migraines and things, which make being stuck at home even more boring after all this time.

I don't tend to read too much off a computer screen though, I prefer good old ink and paper, although the Kindle Paperwhite is nice as well, but you can't beat the feel and smell of a real book. :-)

Sorry to hear about your headache. Fingers crossed the aspirin will help get rid of it for you.

I am not too sure about Monkey Island. I know you can switch to the old graphics version while playing the game, but other than that I am not sure as I have not played them yet.

No, they don't. It's just the remastered version files.

CarrionCrow: No, they don't. It's just the remastered version files.
So even though it supports the old look of the game, it still uses only the newer assets?

And hello, Mr Crow!

But you are new to the whole streaming thing, so it is okay to make a few mistakes now and then. I am sure you will soon be doing great streams.

That sucks massively... I've been having difficult paying attention to anything lately, thanks to these silly mood swings. I've even been failing at the forums a lot... I'm confident it won't last too long though. I'm a generally positive person :-)

I tried using a Paperwhite once. I was really impressed with how good it looked. I agree - If only they could add some sort of book-scent to it, it would be even better :-)
