It is at freezing temperature here, and for the last few days we have been having gale force winds. None of which are really a problem. We had snow and rain as well. I don't really mind the winter weather, I prefer it to those way too hot days we can get during summer.

Apparently we're getting sub-zero degrees tomorrow evening but haven't had any snow yet....well i don't really like any of them.
But it reminds me of a funny saying i heard recently. "I like the summer in Hamburg. It's my favourity day of the year" :D

Very good point, and pretty much completely different from around here. In this place, all snow does is make the desolation look a bit whiter. Though, I figure snowfall probably annoys the people at the nearby air base.

I can't imagine living in a desert area, not after growing up and living in a nice green landscape. No offence to anyone who lives in a desert of course.
