CarrionCrow: Glad to hear that you got to feel better. Hopefully positive results from the tests will further improve that.
Thank you. Good news would definitely be great, but I will be happy with knowing my last little setback did not cause things to get worse. So a no improvement result will also be good given what happened a little while ago and how that could effect things.

NoNewTaleToTell: So I'm giving Overcast - Walden and the Werewolf another shot thanks to it now having Steam Trading Cards and (mostly) because I'm burnt out on RPGs. It IS pretty awful, plus it's jump scare based. Good times...

How are you GOGolytes?
Uh is that kind game which so bad that it's good or is it just outright bad?It certainly looks meh....

Oh and i'm ok.

THAT'S ME!! Who took that picture? Is someone stalking me? Was it you?

Sounds like a lovely wannabe horror turd on your plate.

Doing all right here, how's your day going besides the apparently award-winning game you're playing?

Of course not. And I don't take these ones of you in the shower either, the ones that I was definitely not planning to sell off to the ladies of the thread for a pretty penny. :-)

Hi, hello :-)

I'm well, thinking about maybe getting a game from the rather drab weekend sale (but probably not) and wondering which one of my installed games to attack. Life is games, games are life, life is games, games are life (repeat ad infinitum...). :-)

Well, if you do decide to sell them, share the proceeds around a bit, hm? :-)

Of course, it all goes to charity. It is for the Old Vikings care fund charity. It helps to take care of those softie vikings when they are too old for the raping and pillaging. :-)

Old Vikings care...i don't think such a thing exists. Old Viking are obliged to die honourably on the battlefield :)

What's next? Vikings discovering Vinland? ;)

It's so bad that it's just bad. I've had about my fill of it, gotten about half way through. Currently on a level where you have to shoot a monster twice to make it disappear, it'll respawn a few seconds later, repeat infinitely until you reach some specific point on the map (I haven't gotten there yet). The monster is faster than you and just has to get within five feet of you to get thrown back at the starting point of the level. No checkpoints or anything. Very fun.

Eh, not too bad here. I've just got the game open now to collect the trading cards, it has definitely worn out its welcome, in less than a half hour no less. Playing any Z level games yourself?

Looking at some of the games myself, but I'm in the mood for an actual A level FPS and this sale has none, blah. Any game you're looking at?

They used to do, but that damn EU and their ridiculous health and safety laws ruined it all. :-)

I think that's a wonderful idea and I commend you for it. :-)

Uh that's sounds really awful...and like really bad design choices....lovely....

Of course, but this is a big name charity, so like all big name charities we take 86% of the money donated, so only 14% goes to the charity. :-)

(The sad thing is that is true, virtually every big charity does this, with most causes getting at most 14% of the money donated. Which is so sad given that people gave that money to help, not fund what is now a very corrupt section with highly paid CEOs and directors that treated it all like a company and not a charity organisation.)

And they don't have any healthcare - not even private one? Well in that case an Old Vikings care fund might be a good idea :)

Iron Storm keep looking at me, although by most accounts its an acquired taste. As far as weekend sales go this is the most un-me lot I've seen for quite a while. I think its more the compulsion to buy than really thinking the game is worth having. Its GOG messing with my head again, damn them - all of those low prices become hypnotic after a while... :-)
