AgentBirdnest: All good, yes. Got some medication for the nausea, which helped me greatly to drink. I'm much better now, except a bit of dizziness. I'll probably crash for the day in a minute =__+
mkay. good to hear!

NoNewTaleToTell: It's currently on "Normal".

superstande: The Champ, no doubt :)
Hope he knows how to chill-out too; that sounds like a helluva career!

NoNewTaleToTell: I'm sure he does, there has to be some reason why his "living expenses" are over 8 grand a week!
ah, okay. just thought if it had anything to do with that... I played on hard and hmm... must have been a bug then...

haha... 8 grand a week... he must live in a luxury penthouse or something ;)

Watch out watch out! I just watched a whole Rocky movie today for the first time and I feel so punchy! :)
So... there was some guy ringing our door... then he came in...
I was just about to go to sleep, was like, "alrighty, some fellow has a key to our apartment and he's coming in..." :)
But he was just the Fixer Man... The Super... Since there was a flood downstairs of our building... He had to come wake up everybody to check where the water originated... Also I have an identity crisis... If he's the super then who am I ?! ;)

Luckily our place was not at fault and was also not affected... I'm heading to bed... Cheerios and happy evenings!

Glad to hear! :) Good night! :)
Damn it. Chair dozing is bad enough. Pills and disgusting fizzy dissolving tablet things are not helping.

if there's leather involved, that'd be so very kinky.

Stilton: I don't know our time difference - did you get it on the right day?
Bye, Owl. Have a good evening :-)
I did and I'm thankful for it.

I think I'm in that pleasurable state of not needing/wanting to spend any more on this sale. Might be a case of famous last words, but the repetition has gone round enough to leave me feeling nicely relaxed.

And just been playing Words For Evil. Early days yet, but its a nice way to spend some time.

For me, it's a combo of almost wanting it to be encore repeat time so I can stop clock watching, wishing the second sale was starting, and the general wish that it was the new year already.

I've been playing that one too. Not sure if I'll play it until I get all the characters, but it's enjoyable.
It's got a much faster flow than Letter Quest due to the real-time battles, and a fair bit more difficulty.
Words of Evil has words I'd never heard of before playing it, which makes the "here's an anagram, pick up on the word inside before you die" part a lot more nervewracking.

There is a very clogged feel about the proceedings, but that's the way GOG does it. The same list of games repeated more quickly and the sale for only five days would have suited me better. Get it done and get on with other things.

-laughs- Nothing quite that interesting, I'm afraid. Just trying to figure out if I'm going to be fully sick or not.

Agreed. Insomnia sales generally last less than a week. Get in, go crazy, buy heavy, have fun, then it's back to normal.

But it's the end of the year, and that's all about giving every opportunity for people to burn coin on sales. That combined with day one having pretty much everything screws up the pacing.
On the bright side, at least GOG didn't go with a repeat day in the middle. That would have killed what zazz people felt towards the bundle flow entirely. Better a trickle than nothing at all.

I doubt GOG will do anything grand... but Steam might have something interesting for Black Friday.

Why do all these sales pile up on the same three months?

I ain't complainin'.

The sale started to a grand start, then fizzed out like an old man who'd taken his Viagra 4 hours early.
3 more days, and probably 2 more bundles. I wonder if that includes the encore or not.

Still get the feeling they're trying to work out the 'perfect formula' for a sale. They like things to drag out a bit, but that way everyone gets a look in, which makes sense. But I'd like to see it be more like a fireworks display, with highs and surprises along the way. A front page divided into two or three sections filled with timed deals, or something like that. They'd rotate, but there would be a lot more variety and interest as a result.

Enjoyed that one a lot.

Hope everyone here is/has been well. I wish I had time to keep up with this thread - I miss you guys - but without internet for over half the day that's an even more difficult proposition than trying to keep up while watching a mafia game.
