If not then blame ELT for breaking it again. :-)

I know. Me and my partner dressed up as characters form Logan's Run for one Halloween when we were at University. :-)
Haha nice pic :)
You always pick up sexy outfits... Halloween costumes are supposed to be scary, not sexy ! :) you dirty-minded English ladies..... ;-p

ddickinson: Maybe you should take it back as punishment. :-)
Yes, I'll do that... Agent !!!! Bring back my statue, NOW !!! >:-O
So I went to get my bit of minor surgery today and managed to faint on the operating table. Twice. And apparently I thrashed about quite a bit while I was out as well, which rather frightened my mother.

I can never just go and do something. :P

A novel, a pool, and returning a statue... this is turning out to be a bust day...

That or a shot of tranquilizer. :P

ddickinson: Yep, they blamed us for it but it was some Moomin who was on guard duty but was distracted eating peanut butter and he knocked over a torch. We tried to put it out but to no avail. :-)
Well, I certainly can't blame him! You simply should not have American Moomins in the same room with peanut butter and fire. I blame his supervisor ;-p

We have worn scary ones as well, but we also like wearing nicer costumes now and then, especially as we used to have several costume parties over Halloween. Besides, they are never anything too bad, I always keep the costumes nice and respectable and not showing too much flesh. Unlike those nudist loving French. :-)

That is not the worse of it. You know the war was about you Americans picking on the Canadians? Well apparently it all started as the Moomins were mad that peanut butter was invented in Canada and not the US, so they tried to invade to steal the patent for peanut butter and make it a Moomin invention. :-)

Holy pluck :-O
*tranquilizing hug*
I hope it went okay other than that? How are you now?

Look on the positive side - At least you didn't scratch a medical worker while unconsciously thrashing, and had to go to jail for "assault"? (This actually happens here.)

Well I can't blame the US for that either. I'm surprised there was not a world war fought over the rights to that amazing invention :-p

Didn't people claim it was invented by an American for some time, despite evidence proving it was Canadian?

Yep, luckily the doctor had just about finished the surgery. Right now my stomach muscles are sore from the thrashing I did, and my nose hurts, but that was to be expected. Just taking it easy for the day, lying in bed with my laptop right now. :P

*big thank you hug* How are you? Is your partner feeling any better?

The shock is worse than the pain, but I don't feel that awesome yet. :P *hug*

I don't do things halfway! :D Haha yes, it seems like it went all right. I've still got some pain but I'm just taking it easy.

Haha, no, luckily that's not a thing here. (And wow, that's scary. o.o) I was able to tell the doctor I was going to pass out and she reacted quickly, pushing me down to the table. The spasmic movements were unexpected, though. Luckily everyone was very nice about it.
