EndreWhiteMane: That's the problem with being a responsible and caring person, you're bothered more about others peoples stuff than your own.
Don't let it bother you too much, I'm sure it happens to them far more often than you think.
Yes...you're probably right. Well i distracted myself and relaxed for the last hours and it helped.

And frankly the only i haven't done yet (but going to do tomorrow) is visiting the lost property office...

Stilton: Hi Elt :-)

I wish these forum pains would go away. The stresses of life seem to be wearing people down, an easy thing to suffer with when the days draw in and the temperature drops. Colds and viruses start to have an easier time around now.
Hi Stilton.

Yes that would be great indeed. But you shouldn't bother about that today - should you?

CarrionCrow: Doing all right here. Ran around a lot, glad to be back from the noise and the crowds. Now settling in with an extremely large cup of soda while trying to decide what to dig into next.

Fucking bitch. -shakes head- Why something as simple as the concept of being happy for those you say you care about can't be managed...
I'd say it boggles the mind, but I already know the reasoning. They're just shitty, close-minded people who'd rather be assholes if someone's not exactly everything they want them to be.

-quietly grumbles about you overdoing it on your trip...-

That's good at least. Despite the garbage, it sounds like you got to do some pleasant stuff as well.
That is good to hear. When I saw the sale was on one of the first things I thought about was you getting lots of games you are still missing. How are you liking the sale so far?

My partner's mother also is quite nasty, although after a big fight between her and my partner she is a bit better about it all, in fact she has not said anything insulting at all. Sadly my partner's mother and aunt had a very horrible dad, so part of their problem is due to that. Not that that is an excuse, but part of me does feel sorry for them, especially as they waste so much of their time filled with so much hate. I could share lots of stories of stuff they did to me, the lies and things, but I won't. I don't really see them that often, so I just let them waste their life being so full of resentment while I spend mine being happy. I am hoping my partner's mother is trying to chance, for my partner's sake. It has never been easy on her being torn between us all. Not that she ever sided with them, she has always made it clear she would chose me. Anyway, I have rambled on enough about all that.

Is that you grumbling or your stomach? :-)
I did not push myself too hard (kind of), that is why I cut out a lot of what we had planned. it turned out quite nicely though, as cancelling some stuff meant we could spend the week at my partner's sister's house, and we had a nice time with her and her partner, so that was nice. Overall it was a great little trip, and I am glad we did it. And my partner still has next week off work, so I can do some nice stuff back home, like making sure she has a great birthday next week.

AgentBirdnest: Never tried it. I don't know anything about it at all. Plus, I'm not much of a regular dancer in the first place :-p

A bit better yes. It looks like the "illness" was a false alarm. Probably just due to my strange moods today. In any case, it was fixed by hot chocolate, as always :-)

Ouch! *pokes your nose with my crossed fingers* >;-p
*bigger silly hug*
I have only done it a little. Me and my partner love dancing and trying new things, so we did take a few classes. Well I did, my partner has been dancing since she was little and she can already tap dance as well as lots of other dance types. It is quite fun, especially when done with someone else.

That is good to hear. Let's hope it was just a false alarm.

*Puts Agent's fingers into Chinese Finger Traps to stop him poking people* :-)

*more silly hugs*

That's very kind of you. =) No need, though. Just checked, I'm up 43 games in the last 2 weeks, with an overall total of 1,017 titles in total. My hands are very full.

I think the bargains included are quite good. But, I also think the sale's pacing is once again off, only this time GOG went about the strange pacing in a somewhat different way. Putting the climax of the story at day 1 of a 12 day event just leaves people feeling bored and impatient the other 11 days.

So pointless. If you actually care about someone, you should be happy for them. Not to mention, finding someone you can actually call a partner is such a rarity, it's all the more reason to be happy if someone's managed to do so.

-laughs- That would be me. My stomach hurts a bit from eating too much earlier, but it's not audibly grumbling.

That's good. Sounds like the timing will ultimately work out favorably, on top of the general positivity towards the trip.

CarrionCrow: ...
So you are finally at over 1,000 games? That is some feat. I think I have a long way to go before I can say that, even if I include all the old physical games I own. If you keep this up you might get one of those t-shirts they gave away. :-)

GOG sales are often a strange thing, but maybe for newer customers it is different. I imagine seeing all those great games, both old and new, is exciting for them.

I tend to agree. Luckily we live far away from them and closer to my family, who have been nothing but supportive and happy for us. I actually only tend to call her my partner to people on here or people who I meet who don't know about us being in a relationship. I just find it easier as you never know how people will react as some people are jerks about such things. On here I kept it to just partner as that is what I was used to saying. (I wrote a lot more but I removed it as I was just rambling.)

You can't hug, it was one big jar, one that is too heavy to even lift. :-)

j0ekerr: So guys, tell me about Rise of the Triad.
If you're talking about Rise of the Triad 2013, I found it to be fairly bland and boring. Everything works fine on a mechanical level, and it's not exactly bad, it's just not very fun in my opinion.
