If they made consoles upgradable like PCs are then the same would happen on consoles. Developers are getting more lazy, so they don't invest time to optimise things for PC, just look at all the horrible console ports recently on PC.

But it does have a cute squirrel playing with his nut. :-)
As well as can be expected. Better than the last time at least. But as I've mentioned, I was younger and more of an asshole then. Spent the morning revising law. I now crave for a Guy Fawke's mask.
Actually at this point, consoles are nothing more than frozen specs PCs. Both PS4 and Xbox run on Intel processors for Emprah's sake.
There are so many ways to interpret that last line. Hurm maybe I haven't changed that much... ;-)

Could be better here - although it is better this morning. Nothing healthwise but workwise because my smartphone i need for my work is gone since this (early) morning...either lost or stolen....but at least i won't get trouble because of that.

Sale is okay - way too slow but i got some interesting stuff.

That is true. Eventually consoles will die out as games become more demanding and require higher spec hardware, then I guess developers will have to optimise their PC games a little more.

Well honestly i don't think i'll get it back unless i lost it the regional train. In that case there might be the chance that either the train driver or the conductor found it and could get it back then....but i'd say that this would be the less probable chance...

To enact my vendetta on those that tortured me of course.

Or when they can't optimize anymore their games for the current consoles there will be a new generation to replace that outdated hardware with... slightly less outdated hardware.
Or maybe not, Microsoft is dead in the water and the xbox is not exactly a moneymaking machine. Sony is constantly complaining of financial struggles in its entertainment division, Nintendo didn't score a runaway hit with the WiiU. And everybody has been saying for years that the triple A industry is a bloated monstrosity on the verge of imploding. Doomsayers have been crying out for years already, so I wouldn't believe anything they say. But I do think they're half right. Just that instead of a sudden collapse it'll be more like a pitiful ballon deflating. It will end not with a bang but a whimper.

If lost outside, report it immediately to the police as stolen nevertheless. That at least gives you a written justification for any possible future troubles.

I can't really think of many (if any at all) AAA games that I have even been interested in for many years now. There are a few A grade games, and indie ones, but most of the AAA stuff just looks dull, repetitive, and just plain bad to me (all they seem to care about is their games looking shiny). Especially with all the stripping of features, mechanics, and making them dumbed down. Not to mention all the devious stuff these days, like bad DLCs and season passes and things like that.
