akhliber: Hello, folks of the thread! I hope you're all enjoying your weekend! I've been wrapping up side quests in DA:I and am about to tackle the DLC and then finish up the game. Otherwise, just spending the day playing with Sarge and enjoying some background teevee and music.

*hugs and waves all around*
Aren't those some dlc things meant to after that game.. also it totally wasn't dragon age origins.. inquisition was short in the main story and otherwise those worlds were so full of.. asshole-quests.

Edit1: *hugs back* You surely need it with that game. I fucking needed it, there was none. It was a decent game but the story and main quests.. Pretty bad.

I'm prewtty sure I haven't lost it. Just misplaced it. But Devil knows where it is now.
Trying to remember where I last used it and I can' fricking remember.

Mine are in the center drawer of the left half of my desk.
Does that help?
*Big good night hugs for all*

CarrionCrow: From what I played, it's largely hack and slash. Not a whole lot of story, just enough to keep the overall ball rolling. The vast majority is exploring, doing side quests, leveling, getting better gear.
Doesn't sound too promising... Well I didn't spend much money for it, so I guess it's okay.

Also bought "Never alone" and it's really a cute game. Didn't watch all the "educational videos" so far. The game itsalef is a mix of platformer and Trine, but a lot less complex. Might not be very satisfying for gameplay fanatics, but very intersiting in terms of art.

It could be good at times for something generally mindless.

Yeah, that one looks like they put all kinds of effort into making it a way to experience the culture, rather than heavy gameplay.

Have a good night, sleep well. =)

My kids love it, that's something. For once I wish there was German voiceover, not just subtitles.

Thanks to Stilton I also came to trying Banished. I really like city-builders where you can take your time. Perfect for some relaxing.

I saw a stream for Banished, and it's looking like there's a bit of a difficulty curve. Not much experience with city builders, so I'm probably going to get my people killed more than once.

I'll just wait and see. I hope there's a free mode. My kids just love to see people working...

From what I saw on the GOG stream, there should be. It didn't look like there were any sort of story objectives.
You just build, take care of things, try to keep everyone alive and build up the town.

Good! Have only tied a tutorials as of now.
My kids ie. love The Settlers as a "building up game", but they don't like me attacking my neighbours...

City builders have that same fascination for me, too. All of those little people working away because you set them off doing something. Maybe we've all got a God complex inside us. At least I don't make them get into fights. :-) I like happy little people. :-)

Finally bought The Bard's Tale. It has the greatest song about beer ever made.

"Beer beer beer tiddly beer beer beer!"

And I like Populous, esp. 2... So many options to act really mean...

O_o... What does that say about me...

-laughs- Bet that gets interesting if you have to attack someone to progress in the game.
Have to distract the kids so they don't see you do it.
