And lo' it was, that amongst the fires of the discounts, a lone horseman with a weird face, conical torso and hands and feet without arms and legs rode gifting games to those whom had not hidden away their wishlists. And so the old school jrpg game created on an defunct game system by true believers landed on the rabbit's head. Who vowed to grab his +1 hammer of vengeance and avenge with vengeful vengeance his... vengeance.

+1 For EIT because he's ninja gifted me out of nowhere and it hit me like one of Kaori Makimura's 1 ton magical hammers.

AgentBirdnest: I'm excited for the first day of it :-p
Assuming the winter sale is less exciting than the Autumn sale - would be half a day more appropriate? :P

avatar
FearfulSymmetry: Yeah. For a sale it's very ... anticlimactic. Boring. :P

Well, I'm off to bed. *waves*
Same like the summer sale....i actually wouldn't mind another creative sale - doesn't have to be an insomnia one though (not that i would mind having one) :)

Good night. Sleep well *Night wave* :)

Probably, yes.

And "Night Wave" sounds like a good band :-)

You're right...sounds like a great name - I wonder what kind of music they would make. Something like that maybe? :P

LeoLR: That was really passionate.:-)

I watched Tenchi Muyo years ago and I agree with you about the initial series quality compared to the one that followed.
I remember I really liked the show and when the new one was announced I got excited about it. But then I saw it and there was a feeling of something not quite right.
Yep, I thought that as well. They dedicated a whole episode to Ryo-ohki growing carrots. CARROTS I TELL YOU!
And what was the payoff? A temporary not-quite-furry loli addition to the harem that contributed nothing to the plot.

That's when I realized I was watching shit.

j0ekerr: I kinda prefer Nightwish.
Yes. That sounds better - but thought of Night Wave being one of those 80s retro bands ;)

I do not remember well details about the series but I think they spent to much time inside their house in the sequel. The original show had much more action. My younger self were more interested on the fights. :-)

I was thinking the exact same thing :-D
I was born in the wrong decade...

Well not favourite kind of music but it's nice :)
(And i really like Kraftwerk - which is similar i guess)

Who isn't - but i get your point. I also often miss that i didn't grow up in the 80s - was born too late....

The plot was really weak in the second series. There were some laughs from Ayeka and Sasami's mom coming to visit along with their dad and Yosho's mom. And that was when we got the first really HUGE plot hole that contradicted something previously stablished in the former series. The whole carrot episode was about giving the cabbit, Ryo-ohki, a human body.

Anyways I'm tired so I will be retiring for the night.
I've got myself a good haul for the first days. Further enhanced by generous gifts.

+1 ElT for his ninja gifting, that should teach him.

I meant I should have been born in the 2020s :-p
Kidding... I kinda like the period I grew up in. Having the internet from age 5 was pretty cool :-) While dreaming about other decades is certainly fun, I don't think I'd change my birth year if I could.

Would be interesting as well. I like the time i grew as well i mean i grew up in a unified Germany...but i hated Eurodance.. ;)
I certainly miss some era i would have loved to experience (like the Golden 20s) but i don't think i'd change my birth year either because otherwise i'd miss the period i actually grew up :P

The 70s or 80s would be nice nonetheless :P
Wow, you kids are young.....
