Whoa, lots of people have opinions about dogs! Thank you all (so far).

We've considered (and are still considering) the (im)practicalities of having a dog: the expense, the time required to train and integrate it into the home, the question of holidays and whether we can give it the attention it needs without us ending up pulling our hair out and/or breaking the bank. Its not something you go into lightly when you're not completely sure you can balance all of those things fairly and with as little stress as possible for all concerned, so this is an ongoing decision for us. But I really appreciate the good sense (and sense of humour) you've all sent. Its given me a broader view of the scale of undertaking going from no dog to dog entails. Time will tell, but thank you for your response :-)

I can;t afford to spend money on games, I just posted that, because I suggest it to every one else, because it looks so awesome! :)
