Also lots of awesomeness to Stilton for the link for the movie ^__^
dammit, I should take a course on "How not to fall asleep suddenly"

NoNewTaleToTell: Roadkill Firebreathing Dragon, I doubt you'd see that in a RPG haha.

No gimmick as far as I can tell, just an area with randomly stronger enemies. The Gothics and Risens have worlds where there are both weak and strong enemies at the same time, but their positioning (map wise) always made sense, you were always progressing further and further out into the world as you grew stronger. In Two Worlds and Two Worlds 2 it seems to be just kinda random.
Probably not. But it'd be funny.

An interesting technique emulated poorly. Guess that's an example of why Gothic's highly regarded, and the Two Worlds games are pretty much seen as jokes.

Good morning. =)

Careful, that cuts both ways. If you take the course and excel, you might end up a bleary-eyed insomniac instead.

Yes true! Then I'd have to go back for the course "Basics of How to Fall Asleep"

Doing all right here. Just picked up Galak-Z on an impulse buy, but with not really sleeping for a couple days, I think I'll wait til my brain's working properly to do more than the tutorial.

How are you doing today?

Thanks, just fine. Gonna meet my ol' man in the afternoon... He wants to check out this old pub that has just reopened :)
Playing Wasteland 2... The boss of the Rangers is such a cool guy :) "Don't let your mouth write any checks that your fists can't cover."

That makes sense. Anyone who runs those people would have to be a total badass.

Thank you very much!

If you GOGers read this, throw some +1s at the Crow.

Yeah. And it's a harsh world... You gotta be cool and badass if you want to be a leader :)

Hope Galak-Z is a good game. I looked at the screenshots, and they reminded me of this good old game, Zone of The Enders that was released on playstation 2, I think. It may not be the same kind when it comes to gameplay... but hope Galak-Z is as good or even better :)
ZotE was a really awesome game :)

I can already tell that I'm going to die a lot. I kept trying to maneuver the ship with just the thumbstick. Slowly getting used to the sticks only being for direction, not propulsion. At least they were nice enough to make it so asteroids don't hurt on impact. Otherwise I wouldn't have made it out of the tutorial.

oh-kay :)
If it's a 100% japanese game, I would expect a couple of things: at least an option if not compulsory for super-hard tricky maneuvering and shooting... and lots of secrets to be found... and some bizarre humor :)

Maneuvering is definitely a factor. I can go fast, but I also slam into things. Also, there's a stealth element to the game if the player wants to use it. When you move, you put out a radius of sound that enemies will notice and lock onto. If you manage to approach silently, though, you can get the first shot off. (Which is usually the last and only shot when missile barrages are involved.)
As for the humor, it's serious at the moment, but visually it looks like a sci-fi anime from the 70's, maybe early 80's.

Aaaaaaaaand there's my first death. And since I had it on rogue difficulty, that means I get to do the first mission over again as well thanks to perma-death.

Stilton: Can you get it DRM free anywhere? I see Steam have it, but I'm not into clients etc.
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Vampire-Masquerade-Bloodlines-PC-CD/dp/B0000A1P7B/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1446281166&sr=8-1&keywords=vampire+bloodlines

Might wanna go for a used copy though...
And there are community patches that fix all the bugs and even restore unfinished/missing content.

And *Morning hugs and waves* all around.

too bad... well ... I guess you are in for a proper challenge.
Hm... so it's a serious game... I wouldn't have expected that. Maybe there will be bizarre jokes later...
What you mention of it though, I am interested :)

Good morning Agent and Tom!
I'm hitting my head against the wall with wasteland 2 :) fun times!
