Well, I was gripping the bottle in my hand, and tilted my wrist a little to tip it toward my mouth. I then proceeded to swallow the beer :-)

Then I started feeling a little fuzzy and freaked out. I hate not feeling totally 100% clear. I'm sure it would have been fine if I wasn't taking Klonopin at the same time though. If I remember correctly, you are not supposed to do that. The combination causes extra dizziness and lack of concentration.

Well after some more beer it's normal that you're not 100% clear anymore - but that would explain it - can imagine that it wasn't a pleasant situation. Understandable that you don't drink beer then :)
