Stilton: Its about now that I get an urge to look around Game Jolt for some interesting oddities. Tried a couple today which were a bit hit and miss. Some of them look pretty appealing.
I also had a look at Locomalito. Very stylish games there. And there's Blendo. Any new ones I find I like to keep an eye on. Hau!
Fell asleep twice last night :) ROM is an excellent nap-causing device :)
Anyways.... Had a look at that Verminest game on Locomalito... That reminded me of my love for B-Movies...
Been trying to kindle that fire ;)
Also the game looked proper cool... might give it a whirr today.
But what I mean is, would be cool to find full-feature rpgs or point'n'click adventure games or whatever - based on the vibe of a b-movie or two :)
I can recollect one point'n'clicker they made based on the Ed Wood classic Plan 9 From Outer Space. That game if memory serves, was seen as crap somewhere and at least one magazine gave rather high praise.
Not sure if they ever made a PC version. From what I remember though, it wasn't exactly a Super Excellent game... but can't be sure...
Anyhow. Maybe that's today's mission, look for b movie related games :) either in progress or already released... then go vote for them to come released on gog. Seems gog's pushing all kindsa strange stuff already :)
Anyhow, any advice on where to go diggin' will be mucho-appreciato! Gracias!

Yeah, I made the mistake of reading the Huniepop release thread. I know better, I really do. But it was like a train wreck... I just couldn't look away from all the overly judgmental people with no senses of humor. Was there this sort of outrage when the Leisure Suit Larry games got released?
I'll be happily off playing my pr0n games this weekend, thanks. ;P (Probably while re-watching ooooooold episodes of Doctor Who, having finally finished watching all the classic stuff earlier this week. Favorite black and white episodes, here I come!)

Yeah those games... well hope there's more to it than just crazy orgies. I've always enjoyed Japanese humor and the positive attitude, maybe there's some of that in the games.

As for all the rest? My main annoyance with Hatred was that the developers were a bunch of cowards who wouldn't push the concept to its absolute limit. Given that, pixel nudity isn't exactly a major issue.
Selective outrage? I'm not willing to beat my head against the wall after shoving a large nail up my nose. Without that, I'm pretty sure I can't get to the right level for properly relating to certain people.
Of course it is, because if a god exists, they are a total prick with a vicious sense of humor.
On the bright side of it all, this release does set the stage well for the developer's next game - a business sim wherein you run a camgirl web service.
If people are foaming at the mouth over this, they should go into full-on convulsions over that. =)
