I'm seeing why Dex wasn't picked up by GOG for distribution. I'm playing the Enhanced Edition (a term that's starting to annoy me, since with Dex at least it's more of a "we put out a title with a lot of problems at launch, so now we're going to try to quasi-rebrand it after patching some of those problems" edition), and it's still got bugs, along with a number of gameplay-related annoyances.
Overall, it feels like it needs more polish. Not in the visual style, but in how the game flows, how it feels playing it. I've been playing it for hours, but it still feels off.
Additional - Well, there's timing. Was just thinking about whether or not the game had a problem with its saves, but wasn't certain until just now. Saved after doing an annoying button flipping sequence, died a minute later, reloaded, and the button flipping sequence shows as not completed, despite me specifically saving the damned thing so I'd avoid doing it again.
