AgentBirdnest: I'm neither healthy, wealthy, nor wise. Actually, I have a man-flu, am broke, and uneducated :-p
What's the difference between a man-flu and a regular flu? :P And you don't need to be educated to be wise. In fact, I've known some very educated people who had trouble with the simplest things ... One of my professors is an absolute genius when it comes to literature and languages, but when he had to divide 12 by 6 once we spent an agonizing ten minutes waiting for him to finish the calculation ... Never mind that we gave him the answer several times, he just wouldn't listen. :P

Hello, little blob! How are you today, how is the heat?

I have never really followed the consoles, so I don't really know about the games and technology of each generation. But 2005 is a good sticking point for old games. But I do think you might have to adjust it, if you call every game since a new game then they will charge new game prices for them. :-)

Hello, mighty Viking!

I hope your day is off to a good start (even though it is now the afternoon)?

It does not sound too bad. Not perfect by any means, but it sounds like an average type FPS game, which is not necessarily bad. Is that game banned in Germany as well?
Better not talk about theheat. It's spring and I'm almost melting at 9AM.

This is a man-flu n__n Usually not even a flu at all, but a cold. Women call it the sniffles, men call it a near-death experience ;-)
Well, in that case, I'm wise when it comes to episodes of The Simpsons and peanut butter :-) I never finished high-school, which I regret, but with my health problems I just couldn't continue. Then I went ahead and had ECT right after high school, and forgot just about everything I had learned :-p

(Did I just take Klonopin? I feel like I am suddenly revealing more personal information than usual... Tant pis...)

Hahaha, all right then. :P I guess I do like to pretend I'm not ill when I actually am. That really backfired once when I ended up throwing up in class. :P

Yeah, those situations really suck. My sister recently had to drop out of high school as well due to health problems. But fortunately getting an education isn't the most important thing in life. Sure, it's handy, but it's not the end of the world if you drop out. Especially not since your health is much more important. At any rate, if you wanted to continue your education at some point, I'm sure there are options. Here in the Netherlands you can take entry exams for higher education if you didn't finish high school. Is there something similar in the States?

Haha, it's okay to reveal some personal information every once in a while. ;)

Hi, how are you doing?

*quick, sleepy hello*

I hope you are all doing well! Focusing on rest one final day, as we've got to pick Sarge up this evening instead of on Saturday... I'll likely sleep most of the day away. I'll get labs done at the mayo tomorrow and should know for sure if I'm in the clear with my iron levels and such.
Missing Sarge like crazy, but the rest has been pretty amazing.

I'll say more soon, can't quite seem to wake up at the moment... going to shut my eyes for another hour or so, then try this again. ;)

Hi, how are you doing?
Lonely, melting from the heat, haven't hugged someone for quite some time...
Aloha all, not quite awake yet but I seem to be alive, that's a good start.
Hope everyone is OK and that the 'sickies' get to feeling better very soon.
*hugs or waves* and off for coffee.
What's the state of Galaxy these days? Has GOG got it debugged and fully functional?

Ah... I was almost that kid who didn't want to admit he was sick. Luckily I made it outside just in time. Another few seconds of staying in the class and I would have felt really bad for the janitor :-p

I remember you talking about your sister. That really sucks. I hope she can figure out whatever is best for her, and that her health problems won't cause too much more trouble :-(
Some colleges will allow students without a high school education, I'm not sure of the details though. I really just need to take my high school equivalency test, which I've been studying for these last few months. (Should have done it when I was 19, but, well... tant pis :-p) That will open up many more options. No idea what I'd study in the future though... Peanut butter science... o__o

I tend to share too much information in crowded places. Like at parties, or a forum, or on a podcast :-|

Stilton: I've resumed my downloading. Its going quicker than I thought it would, so I should be finished by mid 2016 ;-)
And by then there will be more sales, meaning more games to download. Your task will never be completed. :-)

avatar
AgentBirdnest: Ah... that is a brilliant idea! From now on, 6+ months is old! :-D
Good idea, and all old games should be priced at the cheapest. I am sure they will go for that. :-)

I can not speak for all of that, but wealth is no always measured in money. Wealth can mean anything. You could take away all my possessions and stuff and leave me just my lovely wife and I would consider myself very wealthy. And as for wise, well I think you don't give yourself enough credit.

Sorry to hear that the heat is so bad. *cooling hug*

And hello with *hugs* to everyone that arrived while I was away.

See you in a little while then :-)
How long has it been, like 7 years since seeing the little guy? Glad to hear that "amazing" though!!

Yeah, this actually happened in my first year of university ... When I should have been old enough to know better. ;) "It will be fine," I told myself, "I haven't actually thrown up in over ten years, what's the worst that could happen?" Well ... :P

I hope so too. It's really difficult right now, most of all for her, but for the rest of us as well. Oh well, I hope things will start to go a bit better soon. :)

Ah, so you're already working on it? That's awesome. Keep the studying up, I'd say. Afterwards you can figure out what you want to do. Or get a grant and study ways to improve peanut butter. :P

Yeah, in the heat of the moment I sometimes tell people more than I actually should as well. :P

I think they just released a game you'll love:
In Little Inferno you'll spend most of your time doing two things: buying things, then burning those things. Enter your inner pyromaniac - there's a curious satisfaction to the burning, and the focus of the game is executed perfectly with beautiful tongues of flame.
:D

Chat is as messed up on Galaxy as it is here. I've had some trouble making sure the program closes. I've had to shut it down from the task manager a couple times.
Other than that, I haven't had any big problems. (After a week of use.)
