moonshineshadow: ok :D

I am in electrical engineering and the subject of my thesis is researching a new topology for a direct current converter for solar energy generation :-)
I wouldn't call that a ??? answer. I might not understand the whole process, but I get a good idea of what you do (mad scientist). :-)

Good day, everyone!

LaPtiteBete: Let's try the "???" one firstly :D I like riddles.

Õ__Ô. Okay. I know a few stuff about solar energy for working in the environmental field... I guess what a "direct current converter" is... But I'm stuck on the word : "topology"...

Converters can be designed very differently and even if two converters have the same components they can be connected and arranged in different ways. And these different layouts are called topologies :-) some topologies are widely used and even have special names and everyone in my working field would know what they look like when mentioning the name.

How are you ?
Bonjour! *big afternoon hug*

I'm doing wonderful, thank you. My partner has taken a few weeks off work to help me out on the farm. Which means no more 14-18 hours days, and with any luck, I will get my Sunday off work back as well, so I won't need to be working 7 days a week (YAY!).

How are you doing this fine day?

Aaah... That's very clear like that ! :-D Thanks for this explanation. I'm glad to know what you do for a living :-)

Anybody want some coffee ?...

LaPtiteBete: Anybody want some coffee ?...
None for me thanks (I don't like coffee), but I think I will have a nice cup of tea. :-)

Happy to see you doing wonderful, DD !! :-D
These are good news... at last, you can take some rest...

I'm not too bad... still some lacks of sleep (thanks to my baby owl's new teeth... yes ! we, owls, have teeth !!), which begin to affect my mood, but nothing serious. :)

I have tea, too... Lipton "breakfast", random green tea with mint, or Twinning's Earl Grey...

I'm sorry to hear about you still not sleeping to well. Those baby critters sure can be a handful, especially when teething (pictures a baby owl with vicious fangs :-)). I hope the little owl won't suffer too long, which will hopefully allow you to have a little more sleep.

I also hope that it won't take too long :-)
I also think that a baby owl with vicious fangs would make a great picture. You should do a drawing of that if you have time and motivation :D

Star Wars/Lucas Arts Giveaway! - Results.

I have just drawn the winners from my little Lucas Arts giveaway (for those who still remember :-)). I will get the games shorty and send you all the code. It will be one code with all the games on, but I think the chance of one of you lovely people stealing all the games is very slim. Unless the Dark Sides finally corrupts you. :-)

I couldn't just pick one winner, and if I could I would have gotten you all a game, but sadly I can't. So in the end I picked 3 winners at random, using my trusty paper raffle box. Strangely only one was a Star Wars game, and only two were Lucas Arts games.

Winners:
1. LaPtiteBete - Sam & Max : Hit the Road
2. moonshineshadow - Heretic Kingdoms
3. penumbren - Star Wars: Rebellion

Congratulations!
