I like a bit of Linux tinkering. There's a lot of good stuff there. Was it Arch you were using? I've stuck with the Ubuntu based ones so far, but I've installed a lot of others on pendrives to see what they're like. Its a bit hit and miss, but overall I like them.

I'm kinda... insanely miserable at the moment. At some point during my sleepless night, I apparently lost my goddamn mind, and rather than continuing to look for it this morning, I'm eating ice cream. Because that is way easier, more fun, and delicious :-) ... I still have my eyebrows though, so I shouldn't be complaining :-p [/complaint of the day. Nothing else negative from me today, I swear.]

No - i failed at installing Arch twice thus far but i aim to get it when i have enought time for another try. I'm using Debian after trying a lot Ubuntu-derivates.

Debian's good and solid. Arch was too awkward to get going for me - I like the Windows approach to things where most of it is pretty obvious, lots of GUIs and stuff. That's where the Ubuntus score.

Things are going well here, but I'm BUSY. PC stuff, game downloading, eating, chores, training my horse to swim, all that kind of stuff.

The kitty is doing well, except from his digestion. He sleeps a lot... I look forwards to seing him opening his eyes :))

Yes, well, it started out as a therapy because he gets depressed, but he saw some people at the pool playing water polo and now he wants to play it, too. He's going on about it all the time and leaving notes around the house to remind me, so I'm trying to get his swimming up to standard and then I'm going to have a talk to the polo people. I'm not sure they'll be keen on the idea of having a horse in the team, but I hope they do. If not, he's going to be even more depressed than before. Why can't he like computer games? It would be so much easier. Its his hooves, you see - he can't operate a keyboard very well.
