ddickinson: I wonder what I would chose if I had to pick between Barry and Twilight. Actually no need to wonder. I just pictured those whiny emo vampires and decided if I had to chose I would go with Barry. But luckily I don't have to make that choice. :-)
Nooooooooo! I think we can all at least agree that there's no real choice here. You might not like Barry but Twilight is worse than shit. Like, really the most terrible word vomit ever.

ddickinson: Well you are still less that 50% demonic, so it is not too bad. I did find the list interesting, given some of the things listed and some of the things not listed. I just felt a little silly and thought I would be a little silly on the thread as I miss doing that.

Well I am just kidding about all that. I am always a little worried people take such things seriously (because for some reason people become idiots on the internet), but luckily most people on the thread know I am just joking and would never say anything mean for real. Even my jokes about the US spelling of things is meant as light hearted fun, not an insult or anything.

The percentage shifts. ;)

Being silly is a natural response to reading something that's so silly on its own. Makes sense to me.

-laughs- No need to worry. People who know you know you're kidding. People with sticks up their ass are just looking for an excuse, so they'll find one regardless.

Agreed. Also very grateful that there's no need to make the choice. Never had an interest in the former, and from everything I've seen and heard about the latter, that'd be one hell of a painful experience to get through.

I said I would probably pick Barry. I wonder if there is some rivalry between the cult of Barry and the cult of Twilight? I wonder if anyone likes both? Now that would be evil. :-)

LeoLR: And you got a new subscriber. :-)
Haha, awesome! I do several different fandoms so you might find something you like. I've even got a couple of videos dedicated to games. :P

ElTerprise: Hmm...which video games? I played the Lego Harry Potter ones and own them here but that's more due to the fact that i really love the Telltale Lego video games :).
Yes seems so and that's great - i mean having the books was always a motivation for me to read so i guess i also profited from the Harry Potter books :)
Harry Potter 1, 2, 3, 5 and 6. I played 1, 2 and 3 as a child. I've attached some nice old school screenshots so you can get an impression. :P I did buy the Harry Potter Lego ones recently but I didn't really play much of them yet.

Yeah, I definitely profited from them, as I learned many skills thanks to Harry, in a roundabout way. :P

I wonder if we get you some good games to play that you will become less demonic? :-)

True, people do like to complain and things online. They seem to just go out of their way to find things and be hostile and things. Just look at the forum and what is happening here.

From what I have heard about them both, Twilight seems a lot more manufactured than Harry Potter, as though they are following the old clichés and things that they know will sell a teen vampire movie. But I guess people like what they like. As long as they are not jerks about it then I see no problem with it, even if they like stuff that we can't stand.

Some people like both. But let's not talk about those people. :P I only know that when I was in high school so many girls read Twilight and thought it was the absolute best thing ever, so they forced it on me. I read the first book and was freaked out. Extremely creepy stalker love interest? Definitely don't want that. Freaking annoying "oh-I'm-so-clumsy-and-yet-perfect-and-all-the-guys-love-me" protagonist? Barf.

Book recommendation - if you can find it and want a vampire story that won't make you wish you were blind, Nancy A. Collin's Sunglasses After Dark is quite good. It puts sparkle vampire idiocy to shame in about two seconds flat.

Now you are posting demonic pictures? Now I am sure you are truly lost to the light. :-)

Nostalgic gaming pictures! Oh I would pay good money if GOG ever got hold of those games ... I still have the discs, of course, but the optimization is terrible and one has to jump through all kinds of hoops to get them working at all on modern systems ...

That's why I use way too many smiley faces and tongues sticking out in my posts. I want to make sure people know I'm joking :-p

I have not read or seen Twilight. I read a bit of Barry and did not like it, but I have been told enough about them to know they are definitely not for me at all. I don't like the Game of Thrones books either. And I know that is not the proper name, but I remember that Moon hates when people call the books that instead of the proper name. :-)

I am probably speaking rubbish, but that book sounds familiar. I can't say I have read it, but it definitely sounds familiar. I will take a look at it sometime, although vampire books are really not my kind of thing.

I sincerely hope not. Things get fun enough without the balance getting all out of whack. -laughs-

I try not to. 99 times out of 100, when I read different threads here, I end up wishing I hadn't wasted the time.

From what I've seen, Twilight is a mix of really crappy vampire mythology mixed with creepy religious undertones.

You want GOG to sell digitalised copies of corruptive demonic games? What of the poor children who use the site, they would not stand a chance against the evil corruption of Barry. :-)

I do find it strange on the internet. Even with smily faces and things I always worry people will take things the wrong way. I am fine face to face, we have body language and facial expressions that help, but online we just have text.

That's okay, different people have different tastes. It's no problem for me. I just particularly hate Twilight because I think it gives off a really wrong vibe. Some dude breaking into a girl's bedroom and watching her the entire night without her knowing and without her consent? That's not romantic, it's freaking creepy.

I like A Song of Ice and Fire but I hate it at the same time. The books have a way of sucking you in but sometimes I really want to kick George R. R. Martin because he's a sadist.

Hmm...will take a look at your channel later. Bookmarked it for the moment :)
Hmm.....actually never really took notice about those games to be honest....
Well the Lego are really fun in Co-op :)

Atleast in any way :P
