AgentBirdnest: Actually, I was thinking more along the lines of this bad boy from Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory ;-)
avatar
ddickinson: Do you think that is the train ELT works on? :-)

avatar
superstande: Aaargh... Noo! Moomins are innocent cute things... aaarghh.... now I see them as some twisted evil scientists! :p
avatar
ddickinson: No need to worry, we are using Moomins as code for Mormons :-). Partly to limit any offence we may cause with our silliness, and partly as they sound a little similar.
*pheew!* *relaxes considerably* :)
Moomins are alright...
avatar
ElTerprise: Shout out for Endre for gifting me the Wolfenstein games. Thank you, Sir!
Please send him as many +1s as you can :D
Done! I threw a few green stars to Endre.

avatar
ddickinson: ...
I don't know, those Moomins have invented some horrible things. :-)
...
Pardon my ignorance. Moomins?

Cool videos. This gives an interesting perspective on these movies.

Urgh! I reached the first boss fight on my downloading game. Alan Wake and its ~9GB of content.

ddickinson: I think Isaac Newton said it best when he referred to standing on the shoulders of giants. Most inventions, especially in those days, were a result of many people and their works, not all from the same country or even the same era. I think the US just took credit for a lot of things regardless. Which I mean as no offence. Didn't you even try to steal peanut butter from the Canadians and say an American invented it? :-)
It seems very true. I can think of very few Americans who we were taught "helped" invent something. It is all or nothing with us.
Yes, we stole peanut butter from the Canadians, and we don't even give credit to the correct American who stole it! :-)
Alright folks - i'm off to sports. See you all later :)

avatar
ddickinson: Don't go blaming the Kangaroos. ;-)

Do you get to kill Hitler in the game? And let us not forget the scores of Germans you will have to kill to find him. :-)
What a cheap joke :D
I don't know - but i thought so (atleast in W3D)
Hm.....maybe i should ask the enemies about their nationality then ;)

avatar
AgentBirdnest: Actually, I was thinking more along the lines of this bad boy from Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory ;-)
Holey.......
Wouldn't that be a bit too much...

avatar
ddickinson: Do you think that is the train ELT works on? :-)
I guess that would be interesting but this train is highly impractical for personal transport :)
avatar
AgentBirdnest: Indeed, like that nasty "television" thing >:-/
avatar
ddickinson: I thought a British guy invented the television? Wasn't it John Logie Baird, or am I remembering it wrong? Are you Americans stealing inventions again?

avatar
ElTerprise: Excuse me, Hitler was Austrian after all ;)
avatar
ddickinson: Don't go blaming the Kangaroos. ;-)

avatar
l0rdtr3k: *lays besides DD and hugs her* I will sleep for a while now,D. Would you sing a lullaby to me please?
avatar
ddickinson: But I don't know any Brazilian lullabies. :-)
You can sing the ones you know.
I think I will call it a day and get some things ready for for when my partner gets home. I hope you all have a great evening.

*big hugs and some silly waves*

avatar
AgentBirdnest: Of course! Who else will I blame for losing so many times on that level? :-)
The American developers perhaps? :-)

avatar
LeoLR: Pardon my ignorance. Moomins?
A charming cartoon from the land of the Fins, Finland. :-)

Don't worry. Tomorrow we will try to find something you did actually invent. I am sure there will be something. The pizza burger, I think you invented that. :-)

As long as you smiled that is all that matters. :-)
It would be a bit impractical, but fun, especially if you got to fire it. Have a nice time at your sports.

l0rdtr3k: You can sing the ones you know.
Luckily for you I love to sing, and I am not too bad at it, even if I do say so myself. :-)

*starts to sing a lullaby*

Done!

And I hope you're all enjoying your day! I am back and forth, lazing and occasionally Cleaning A Thing. Eventually, I will have cleaned Multiple Things! Talk about accomplishments. ;)

See you later, Mr T. Have a nice day :-)

Stilton: That sounds like a joy. I'm not in the least bit green-fingered, but I really enjoy the sights and smells of a garden. Around this time of year there's that lovely fecund smell of the earth and leaves breaking down and enriching. I used to live in town but I'm now out in the countryside. Its the best move I ever made :-)
It is a joy, keeps me sane if the weather permits.
I'm in Cumbria, high winds & salt air can dictate what will grow, small victories once in a while over mother nature.
Lived in the local town once, never again, hated every second of it.
Wouldn't mind getting rid of the seagulls, sandwich stealing PITA, Cumbria's very own cliff racers.

Have a lovely evenight, DD. See you later. *Extra big hug*

If it is a grossly unhealthy and just plain disturbing food, you can bet we probably did invent it ;-)

Seems that nobody can change them right now. Well, they change in chat, but not on the forums :-/
I am confused with GOG's decision to block the Wolfenstein games on Germany and include German language on Return to Castle Wolfenstein. What's even more confusing is that the Steam release doesn't have German language support, so it was GOG that actually pushed for the inclusion of the German language. :-/
