Stilton: Hey, great news everyone - I've got a hernia!

How are we all? Good days all round, I hope ;-)

EndreWhiteMane: Something you just found out about, or did you just do it.
I have a 20cm x 25cm stainless steel screen in my belly to fix mine. My own screen door. :-)
Joking aside they hurt like hell and I hope yours is easily repaired.
Its felt like some kind of rodent has been chewing my groin for the last few weeks, so I had an ultrasound scan this morning and they found it. Relief. Now I can get it fixed, or maybe a zip put in - it might come in useful for something. A screen door sounds good, too...

I know the feeling, makes coughing a real joy.
Mine was huge and a leftover from major surgery.
If yours is less than 5cm or so it should be fairly easy to fix.
Don't delay and let it get bigger though, that's what I (stupidly) did.

toxicTom: Actually I didn't expect it for Quake. They're just blacklisted, not banned. And other games from the German blacklist are available.
Well yes. I was referring to Wolfenstein. Not sure why Quake is also blocked....maybe that'll change like it did with Mortal Kombat....

LeoLR: At least you announced it with enthusiasm. :-)
I hope it is not too serious.
I'm a bit odd like that...;-) I might even post pictures!

How are your backup downloads going? I did mine a while back and it took something like five years. I'd get some provisions in if I were you...

akhliber: You've clearly got a heart muscle that could be a star power-lifter yourself. :) I hope you are able to manage the pain as well as possible. It's amazing how therapeutic just having your partner nearby can be, even when you're too tired to interact. Just looking over and seeing the lady (or the pup!) and I feel instantly renewed, more able to forget all but the more beautiful parts of being alive. :)
Very true. It does not take much to have a happy life. It is the little things that mean the most.

l0rdtr3k: You're gotting hugged,kid!
Are you not younger than I am, so who are you calling kid? :-)

*big hug*

AgentBirdnest: You mean... "Sometimes, when a man and 55 women fall in love..." ? :-)

*big return hug*
So even with 55 women you still think everyone has nuts. I think you need to look a little closer, because if that is your findings then I fear those might just be men in drag. :-)

Having them is no fun at all, but I'm glad you at least know for sure now so you can have it addressed. I've currently got one in the front seam of my stomach above the navel, but fortunately it isn't developed enough to be "in the danger zone" so to speak. I have to have it looked at occasionally, but don't need surgery at the moment, at least.
I'm quite curious about the screen door as well! Sounds a bit fascinating, though not exactly comfortable. :)

akhliber: Congratulations! Those are wonderfully exciting! ;)
I've only had one surgery for a hernia, and I was nine, but I certainly still remember how much fun it added to life.

I hope you recover from it soon!
That makes three of us who've had a touch of the old fractured groin - maybe I should get some t-shirts printed...

Maybe Moomins have really big nuts and just think women keep them in a different place.
Wolfensntein and Quake? BEST.DAY.EVER!

Quick Question:

Are we able to gift region locked games to those evil Nazis (or loveable Germans, your choice), or is that not allowed? :-)

I see, I think I know where the women could keep them. But I must say, Moomins have pretty big nuts if that is the case. :-)

Good morning/afternoon/evening, everyone.

Hopefully you're all doing at least okay so far.

I can say I started it. 3 down, 224 to go. :-P
My plan is to follow my library sorted by titles and download a windows installer + plus a linux installer (if available) + the extras.

Good morning, Mr Crow!

I hope you are doing well and have had a nice sleep?

Ha! "Groin rats - No heavy lifting!"
The one I had at nine became quite a problem, as I had *no* idea what it was, and as it was right near the "bathing suit areas," I was too embarrassed to mention it to anyone. It eventually stuck out and hurt enough that I was afraid *not* to say something, but I'm a bit stubborn, so that came a bit later than it really should have. My kindergarten teacher (who is still one of my closest friends... an amazing guy) visited me in the hospital and made me laugh, and I wanted so badly to hate him for it. ;)

Sorry for missing that earlier.
Had to look up hernia. Sorry to hear that.
