ToxicTom, Crow and me, the infamous amiga clique of gog? :p
Add IAmSinistar, pretty unusual as an American.

ElTerprise: Considering the discount for Way of the Samurai will the be there for a week i'd say it's safe to wait until the weekend sale or at least today's releases show up...
Aye, I know I don't have to immediately grab it, basically just wondering if I should grab it now as in before the next big sale, or wait until the next big sale and use the credit for that.

Shadowrun: Dragonfall is getting to me in a way that a game hasn't in a long time. I have no idea what class I wanna be, and I mean that in a good way! In Shadowrun Returns I was a Elf Rifleman and I don't want to just recreate that build as much as I liked it. I'm thinking either a Mage, Mage/Rifleman combo, or maybe a Decker if there are more Matrix levels. I've been to the "turning point" of the tutorial twice now and looks like I'm gonna do another build now.

PalioDeMonte: Unfortunately I never had one, although I considered the Amiga to be very cool. I stood with my C64 until I switched to PC (80286, green/black Monochrome, 20 MB HDD - played Wizardry 6 on it back then).
Well amiga was kinda cool... in theory :p
I don't miss the compatibility issues :)
When I changed the operation system from 1.3 to 2.1 so many good games stopped working and since it was a hardware cpu change I couldn't go back too easily :)

Right on! So we are a quartet already :)
Good day, everyone!

I hope you are all doing well today?

I realised I have not included a little quote for a while, so here is one picked randomly from my head:

------
"I like the Walrus best," said Alice, "because you see he was a little sorry for the poor oysters."

"He ate more than the Carpenter, though," said Tweedledee. "You see he held his handkerchief in front, so that the Carpenter couldn't count how many he took: contrariwise."

"That was mean!" Alice said indignantly. "Then I like the Carpenter best—if he didn't eat so many as the Walrus."

"But he ate as many as he could get," said Tweedledum.

This was a puzzler. After a pause, Alice began, "Well! They were both very unpleasant characters."

Will that do, I could not find the delete key? :-)

superstande: Good morning! Doing good, but tell you the truth I was a bit freaked out by (for me) last night's grim comments by a certain poster.. fell asleep so I didn't answer much...
avatar
AgentBirdnest: Hm, that sucks. Hopefully you didn't fall asleep on your keyboard? We already have a Crow here ;-p
I did, but at least it was in the bed... next to my laptop ;)

I doubt this will get deleted. Gog sure will not notice and for auto-delete we would have to mark it as spam... which means downrating you first. And that will surely not happen :P

Good enough, yes :-)

*extra big mornoon hug*

I like Prince Alexander. He helped the oyster to fall asleep instead of eating it (King's Quest VI) :-p

Well, as long as you didn't drool on the keyboard, I call that a win ;-)

But did you see what happened once the camera was off? I hope you didn't, because the stuff he did to that oyster was just sick. :-)

How are you today?

It would be interesting to get downrated just once to see what happens :-)
Maybe I need to be more mean to people ;-p
*extra big return hug*
Good evening everybody, how are you?

Ho no... He didn't make the oyster watch Terminator 3, did he? >__o

Today... I'm... here. I'm pretty sure. 84% sure :-|
Mostly in lurking mode again, but sneaking in a hello to you all. The wife and pup are sound asleep behind me, cuddle up on the couch. We're going to board Sarge this Saturday for a week, as I've become a bit too physically weak to walk him and chase him around for the moment, but it's looking like I may not need more iron infusions for now! Been holding down a bit of solid food again as well, which is going to work wonders for my energy levels.

I've always been an absolute sissy, both in personality and physical frame, but my wife told me recently that I am *DONE* losing weight, as I accidentally grabbed her size 2 "skinny jeans" instead of my own recently, and they fit probably better than my own, haha. Too bad I don't still have the dresses I made when I was younger, as I'd actually fit into them myself now. I was convinced I hadn't a muscle left on my body, but I just remembered the tongue is a muscle, and I certainly exercise the hell out of that. So ignore anyone who tries to claim I'm totally out of shape. ;)

***BUT***enough boring health crap talk. I'm in a lovely mood this morning (and feel like myself for the first time in a while) and wish you all the happiest of days.

Once my two beauties are awake, the first order of business will be making a strawberry smoothie. For now, it's time to make some coffee, read up a bit on varying speed of light theory and this water on mars business (though I won't pretend I'm intelligent enough to take part in any discussion of varying speed of light theory... I love reading about quantum mechanics, but I'm without a doubt reading as a "layman" and not as an "educated person." ;)

NoNewTaleToTell, I'd highly recommend trying a Mage in Dragonfall. But then again, I must admit I'm a bit biased and would likely make that recommendation in most RPG's. I will say that I found a mage quite rewarding in the Shadowrun games though. I honestly can't remember if there are more decking sequences than in SRR though, and haven't had the pleasure of trying a Decker in the Shadowrun games yet (aside from having one in my party, of course.) But then, I still haven't really started Hong Kong in earnest, and I'm torn between mage and decker.

Glad to hear you can keep some food down! And a "lovely mood" is definitely a great bonus! :-)

I attempted to read up on the "water on mars" thing, but even that is way over my head. I'm not quite the enthusiastic space nerd that I was when I was 14 :-p

Hope your day is just as lovely as your moon. Have some *big hugs* to help make sure of it ;-)
