ddickinson: Sorry to hear you have not had much energy, but I am glad to hear you can eat a little better now. Fingers crossed that you keep improving and that you will have lots more energy. And don't forget the heart is a muscle, and I am sure with a kind heart like yours it will be a very powerful muscle. :-)

It is good to hear you are still in a good mood, despite all the health stuff. I was ask you to share that strawberry smoothie, but I doubt I could keep it down at the moment :-). I hope you all have a lovely day once they are awake.

*big hug*

(Sorry if I missed something, I still find it hard to read too much on the screen.)

Thanks! I hope you find some relief from your own health issues, and that you can hold down something yummy yourself soon (and find a break from the pain!)
I believe we are of a similar mind in regards to moods/spirits and physical health. No sense in giving the latter any power over the former. :)

The lady is awake and off to work (well, off to the bedroom, as she is working from home today) and Sarge is still snoring away, snuggling my feet. It would be damn hard to even *find* a bad mood were I to go looking at a time like this. :)
I hope you have a lovely day as well, and that the more unpleasant parts of it take a back seat to something wonderful!

*big return hug*

ddickinson: So Moomins are gun runners and druggies. No wonder they tried to keep you all locked away in Moomin valley. :-)

Thank you. It will be fine, I have been having these for a while now. They are extremenly painful, as it is the nerve and the muscle (ever had a bad cramp in the muscle? It is like that but much worse, and then there is the burning sensation). But it is something I just have to put up with and hope it gets better.

*big thank you hug*

(P.S. The link was broken. You added a "r" at the end of "gif". :-))
Not to mention some other stuff I've been finding out recently that I won't even mention here... :-\

Well, I guess it wouldn't help if I burned anything to the ground. Want me to kick your nerves in the nuts instead? :-)

(Thank you (apparently I'm into dinosaurs lately :-p))

NoNewTaleToTell: Hey there! Glad to hear that at least in some ways you're on the upswing! Are you reading any particular books on light theory? I was big into it reading up on it and related stuff a few years back, but on a laymen level as well.

I'm definitely leaning towards mage, I'm thinking human mage. All the human skills cap at 9 which puts them at a theoretical disadvantage but that just means I can throw Karma into Body in the late game to ensure I'm not a walking soggy cardboard box. Or at least that's what I've got in mind. I do want to start with 2 Decking just to see what happens in the "turning point" of the tutorial, but having just tried making a mage with 2 Decking, I was missing a lot of spells that a pure mage gets in the beginning. Of course that might not be a problem if the game starts you off with nothing after the tutorial like in Returns.
Hello! I'm actually not yet reading any book on the subject, but after catching up on the mention and brief talk earlier in this thread, I've decided I must... it's a theory I hadn't heard of until seeing its mention here, so now it's just a matter of finding a good book on the subject (and googling for decent articles in the meantime.)

I don't remember if you start back over with nothing after the tutorial, but I *am* pretty sure I had a mage with 2 decking points just for that part in the beginning. I hardly put any points into body though, and did still finish the game (though toward the end of the game I was having to restart several fights that got ugly fast, likely as a result... you really do get pretty squishy by the end.)

Thank you. Not much relief for it at the moment, I just have to hope it fixes itself over time. I can eat a lot better than I was doing, but some things don't stay down too well yet, even on good days.

I am sure the bad parts of my day will take a back seat, they normally do when my partner gets home and I can spend more time with her. That always brightens my day.

*return hug*

AgentBirdnest: I suppose I could part with a few milligrams of peanut butter... I built up a small stockpile, after not eating any for over three weeks. But today is October 1. Time to finally break that fast :-)
Oh my... <-runs off to turn in latest script
I actually had a stockpile of Klonopin that would rival that for a good while, as I was secretly refusing to take it but couldn't find the strength to throw them out, even though many were expired. Pretty sure I'll never run *that* risk with peanut butter. ;)

(I'm in a really strange mood today. Sorry. I'll chill out :-p)

n__n
I had a similar situation. I quit Klonopin in April, but had a nearly full bottle of 90 left over. I couldn't just throw it out, so it sat on my shelf taunting me for a couple months :-p (Eventually I gave it to my brother, who was prescribed the same thing but couldn't get it filled one month due to some insurance company nonsense.)

Hello again folks :)

NoNewTaleToTell: Aye, I know I don't have to immediately grab it, basically just wondering if I should grab it now as in before the next big sale, or wait until the next big sale and use the credit for that.

Shadowrun: Dragonfall is getting to me in a way that a game hasn't in a long time. I have no idea what class I wanna be, and I mean that in a good way! In Shadowrun Returns I was a Elf Rifleman and I don't want to just recreate that build as much as I liked it. I'm thinking either a Mage, Mage/Rifleman combo, or maybe a Decker if there are more Matrix levels. I've been to the "turning point" of the tutorial twice now and looks like I'm gonna do another build now.
Well i guess the question would if you'd play the Way of the Samurai any time soon then...

Yes. It's great when a game does that :)

I am not quite sure you are right there. I think you need to go back to Moomin school and learn about the birds and the bees. :-)

And no need to be sorry, as long as you are having fun be as strange as you like. :-)

*big hug*
Hey all! Good *insert here your period of time*!

I hope everything is fine.
I'm feeling well here. Maybe I'm still under the effect of my encounter from yesterday. :-)

In other personal news: A new HD I bought arrived and now I can start a proper backup of my GOG library. Let's see if my connection and GOG's servers are up to the task.
