j0ekerr: I tried to get into 24... I just couldn't. I found it meh.

Hurrrm. I think I'm going to check out mad men. And isn't House of Cards supposed to be a cynical view at the west wing.
Aw, too bad... I dunno too many shows these days, and the ones I do know are mostly comedies. I did watch "Fargo" last year though, and really loved it. Only 10 episodes I think. Has the same spirit as the movie, but is very unique with some excellent and memorable characters.

j0ekerr: It's kind of funny how my posts show ye olde piratey avatar, while the replies show the drug-bunny-lord one.
You're not the only one. Agent's avatar in the replies also differs from the one shown in the forum. Same with bad_fur_day1 this morning...

j0ekerr: I did watch some Six feet under.

My reaction was thus.

The only time I had any moderate fun with it was when they showed how they got the religious old woman who walked into traffic thinking the rapture had come. That made me smile. For two minutes.
I remember that scene :)

Tastes differ - i really liked that show.

What about Justified or The Shield then?

Maybe I should go for a light hearted comedy. Breaking bad was emotionally exhausting.

I still mourn for My name is Earl.

tinyE: Someone just gave me shit for having long hair.

I'm sorry, but what decade is this!? :P
You have long hair? I would never have guessed actually. Somehow I've always imagined you like this :-)

I had long hair 20 years ago. But after a depression I lost about half of the volume and it just looked shit. So I resorted to drastic measures and now 3mm it is. Though I still sometimes envy the guys with Viking manes who I see on the streets. And my boss has more hair than Tina Turner in her days...
That said, I don't think it's the time, it's the place...

Learned that useful abbreviation only a few years ago... at a MongoDB conference (I guess almost no one knows what that might be...). Has become one of my favs ever since ;-)

Pita, in greek means pie! ;)

ElTerprise: Understandable. :)
When my sister moved to a new apartment some weeks i had to get washing machine downstairs - that was brutal :P
Yeah, these people normally pick them up for free, but because we have two nasty flights of stairs (one with a tricky corner) they asked for 15 euros, which we were only too happy to pay. :P

Ugh, that's some heavy duty work. Moving can be really annoying.

Sorry to disappoint, but I look a lot more like THIS. :P

I've had long hair since I was 15. At 25 I cut it all off. At 26 I got cancer and blamed it on the haircut. :P After a year and a half of bald it started to grow back and I vowed never to cut it again.

You had cancer? Are you okay, now? Hope you are!
