Yes, the British one. I watched the first 6 episodes in one night... then said "I'll watch the rest tomorrow" ... and tomorrow became the next day, and the next, and now it is 2015 :-p

Whoa :P.....i only watched the first and the second episode so far. Might be done with the series earlier than you then :P
Edit: Unless i'll do the same. Happened to me with Lost....watched the first and most of the second season and took a break....since 2008 :P

I decided to marathon Breaking Bad (currently the hip term is binge-watching I believe?) which I had yet to see...

I think I'm OD'ing on those little blue crystals...

I'm still only on chapter 8 of season 2 and Walter is still a very sympathetic character, although his ego is starting to show through, but we only ever see very small hints of the iceberg under the surface. Meanwhile Jesse persistently demonstrates that 'too dumb to live' and 'wigger wanksta' are his main character traits.

A little warning for anyone who is crazy enough to care about me...

Long version - There comes a time when a man (or woman; I don't discriminate) uses the forums so frequently that he begins to have dreams about going on boring-ass 4-hour road trips with J0ekerr and Owl. As much as I enjoy their company, both here and in dreams, I think I could use a little break from the forums for my own sanity. It's not because I don't love the place. You people are golden. Sometimes little vacations are nice, and maybe the boredom I suffer will enable me to finish a creative project or two. I'll be sure to bring back a souvenir ;-)

Short version - I'm taking a break from GOG for 2-4 days starting tomorrow. Figured I'd let everyone here know, because the last time I took a break, my inbox was flooded with messages from way-too-lovely people worrying about me :-)

Sorry to hear that you'll take a break here - but after reading your long version (and all the other versions too :) ) i think it might not be the worst idea. I'll certainly miss you here but often this kind of recreation is really refreshing. I know that from my travels when i'm usually only able to be here for minutes a day.
