gunsynd: Sounds good, although I'd rather be a Funnel Web....

ddickinson: You won't make me squeamish with all your spider talk, I don't mind them at all :-). Besides, Australians have to be a kangaroo or a koala bear.
Have to be a kangeroo, because we are the best League players in the World:-)

ddickinson: Good morning, ladies, gentleman, crows, marsupials, and vampires!

How are you all today?
Good morning(ish)! I'm awake at an ungodly hour for me because alas, it looks like I do indeed have a sinus infection rather than just bad allergies. So, yay for coughing and choking and sneezing and ick.

So sorry to hear about your sinus infection. *big hug*

I have a bad chest infection at the moment, so I can relate a little to how you feel. I hope you feel better soon and that it won't cause you too many problems.

Good choice. Do you prefer Rugby League over Rugby Union?

CarrionCrow: Good morning. =)

Can't complain here, finally got done doing some stuff for a relative a bit ago, thank the gods. Only took about 4 hours in total.
Now I'm scouring levels looking for a teeny tiny bandage. -laughs-

How's the day treating you so far?
avatar
ddickinson: I'm glad to hear you are doing okay. Teeny tiny bandage?

I'm good, I could do with a day of and some good relaxation time, but I won't be getting that for a while, so no point complaining. Other than that, it's a lovely day.
I'm playing Super Meat Boy. The bonus items are very, very small bandages that a player can easily miss if they're not extremely careful between them being so small, frequently hidden, and the dual problems of trying to beat levels on a timer and trying to not get killed.

Rugby League thru and thru.
Our team the Mighty Rabbitohs (Souths) will be calling on your top side soon for the championship..

You can't beat a bit of friendly rivalry between England and Australia at rugby, or cricket. Some people seem to take it too far, or get insulting about it, but it's usually a lot of fun. I don't follow rugby much anymore, I used to watch it all the time with my dad when I was younger, but once I moved out I just didn't keep up with it anymore, I think the appeal to me was spending time with my dad, as well as the game. I like rugby, but I can't stand football, too many over-paid wimpy men who cry and fall to the floor after the slightest bump. Meanwhile a rugby player has a broken nose and still keeps playing as though nothing is wrong.

An interesting and fun looking game. Not really my type, at least not at the moment, but it looks fun. I have not been into platform type games for a while. I used to love them, especially on the older consoles (especially some of the old Sega console platformers).

Thank you both. At this point, I'll be happy if I can make myself miserable enough over the next day or two to cough it all out so that it doesn't turn into bronchitis. I'm susceptible to it, but have avoided it for several years now and would really like to continue on that streak. *crossing fingers*

Whenever you're ready, Super Meat Boy and Escape Goat are two of the hardest. Just be ready to die a lot. =)
Actually, to be fair, the main game of Escape Goat isn't bad. It's the optional levels that'll kill you 10,000 times at least.

Will keep fingers crossed here as well. Bronchitis is some truly miserable shit to deal with.

That's what the doctors said I have, acute bronchitis. I am over the worst of it, and it was not too serious, thankfully, but it has been a royal pain in the butt, especially with me having so much work to do. It's just viral, luckily, so I should be good as new in no time.

I hope it won't be bronchitis for you, fingers crosses you will be fine. *crosses all my fingers*

This should be interesting. -laughs-
