I kinda want to replay Fallout Tactics now...
It's got the same extremely broken gambling thing as Fallout 1, but when the enemies can chop you in half with machine gun fire or blow you to pieces with a bazooka, it doesn't feel as much like cheating to do that.

Yeah, there are snipers, and they're very useful when you can get them into a good position for shots and keep them from being overrun by enemies with better close-range weapons.
In the game, you get more people to choose for your group as you succeed in missions, so you end up with stealthy types, explosives people, snipers, all that stuff.

Been playing Wasteland 2 and it's a wee bit unrealistic.You and your company stand there while the enemy lobs grenades,use heavy weapons.hand guns and sniper rifles,and rocket launchers then it's your turn to shoot back.
Like I said a bit unrealistic,just a tad:-)

That's turn-based combat for you. It's always got that feeling of unreality as people stand around and let enemies hit them in the face with whatever.

Is Fallout turn based?

Fallout 1 and 2 are, yes. Tactics has the option to choose between turn-based and real-time.
I think Tactics would be one damned slow game if you played it that way, though. I always use real-time when playing that one.

Ok,another thing with W2 is enemy two strides away from you and fires gun and they miss because receiver ducked..haha

Can't complain here, finally got done doing some stuff for a relative a bit ago, thank the gods. Only took about 4 hours in total.
Now I'm scouring levels looking for a teeny tiny bandage. -laughs-

I'm good, I could do with a day of and some good relaxation time, but I won't be getting that for a while, so no point complaining. Other than that, it's a lovely day.
