CarrionCrow: Can't complain too much here. Shaking out the cobwebs while my games budget takes another kick to the crotch.
Hadn't really looked into Stasis heavily, but it feels like a game that's right up my alley. So now, the question is, do I grab it immediately, or wait until the discount fades and pay retail as a larger show of support to the developers.

Good idea. I don't think underwater activities and bird feathers work well together. (Unless you're a duck.)

Besides the flooding crap, how're you doing today?

LaPtiteBete: Haha, a kick in the crotch :-D ... sounds a funny plan.
Hum, that's a dilemma... (personnally I would wait for a discount ; not that I don't want to help more the developpers, but I don't have enough money to allow me that option... or else I wouldn't be able to buy my usual insane amount of games :-p)
I've put it on my wishlist, even if I'm not a big addict of "terror" tagged games... but I LOVE end-of-world style games :-) Would you please tell me if it's that scary, once you've bought and played it ?...
Besides the flooding crap, I'm good, thanks :) ... my basement is drying... we're waiting for the owlet's dad to eat (whatever he will have brought...)
Hum, no, I'm not a duck... I don't think owl can even swim :-\
Gotta hug fast!

Fairfox: Oooh... tomorrow morn I get mah fingerprints and snapshot taken for the FBI.
I told you to stay away from /b/ but did you listen?!

Take his advice.

CarrionCrow: It'll be something I wait on for a while, I think, since there's too much catching up to do to grab it immediately.
Between Warhammer, Call of Cthulhu, Star Trek, D&D, Bethesda and Serpent of the Staglands, there's already a wallet killing amount of stuff.
Of the first two, which ones are you referring to?

Referring to the five titles GOG currently has available. As for priority, figuring I'll retrieve Chaos Gate and Shadow of the Comet first. (And just in case someone gets the idea, I will have to respectfully decline any gift code. The more I look at my backlog, people spending money on me shifts from absurd to downright ludicrous.)
The weekend deal is almost over and i wasn't able to decide between these games :

Act of War: Gold Edition
Gothic 3: Forsaken Gods Enhanced Edition
I.G.I. 2: Covert Strike
Powerslide
Race Driver: GRID

Maybe in next time .

Good night .

I loved Gothic 3, but Gothic 3: Forsaken Gods is awful. The engine is somehow even MORE broken, there are immortal NPCs and it butchered the ending of Gothic 3. Only pick it up if you're a huge fan of the series, in my opinion.
Good evening everyone *big hugs and waves* :)

Finally some time after all the travel preparations and the work....

Good evening Crow...
Mostly fine i'd say although i should be sleeping right now because i've to get up in about 4 hours but i can't :)
What about you?

Oh joy...that's always fun. If the pattern for that scenario holds, your energy will crap out completely right around the time you're supposed to be waking up, causing you to resemble a shambling corpse for the day.

Doing all right here. No idea how it got this late, either I fell asleep or some kind of brain damage occurred that blew out my memory for a few hours. -laughs-

Besides that, I'm trying to dig myself out of the "let's read Twitter" rabbit hole by way of playing games I have no desire to. The ends might not justify the means on this one.

Yes..that's exactly what i fear....but thankfully i get to Prague via train which takes about 7-8 hours plus it's the Deutsche Bahn which is notorious for being unreliable so i guess i'll have more than enough to sleep then ;)

Glad to hear that although the amnesia sounds somewhar worrisome ;)
Well i could quote Adm. Ackbar on the Twitter thing :P
What games are you playing then if i may ask? Besides i saw that some of your all-time favourites are in the Staff pick :P

So long as you don't have to worry about people rummaging through your stuff while you sleep, that should work out well.

No need to worry, it's pretty much normal at this point.

Went back to One Finger Death Punch, my all-time leader for game I've said fuck this to, uninstalled, then reinstalled later.

Well thankfully i'm not travelling alone so that shouldn't be a problem (i hope) ;)
I see.....still o.O....:)
Never tried that...only watched a TB about it....looked quite interesting but i never really got to play it....
I don't remember ever having amnesia.

That works out. The person can jab you in the side whenever you start to sleep so you remain vigilant. ;)

I'd say that One Finger Death Punch is pretty much the hardest speed game I've ever played, between the concept itself, the speed involved, the breaks in gameplay flow that will screw you over time after time, and the need for the reaction of a hyperactive ferret to get through it all.
And I haven't even gotten to the hardest difficulty level. Think I've played it for something like 80 hours now and I'm not even close.

Me neither, so it all works out. It's not like the enemy of my enemy thing, amnesia plus more amnesia doesn't equal remembering shit. It's just a bigger fog.
