CarrionCrow: Still trying to get it all working. I applaud your patience. Would've wanted to throw something by now in your position.

Can't complain here. Quiet day, giving the roommates a hand as needed since they prepare for vacations like headless chickens. Think I'll play some more Hong Kong after it cools down so I can concentrate.
Well it was my mistake that i messed it up and i really want a functioning Linux next to Windows on my laptop especially since Windows 10 starts to annoy me now and again (Firefox starts crashing on it and sometimes the start menu and Cortana (which or who (?) i disabled) is not working....)

Glad to hear that. Hong Kong might be your moment of Zen then ;)

Crewdroog: i've been wanting to do that so badly, but forcing myself to go to bed early (work is at 7am), so even though i'm seeing pink elephants, I will probably be up late tonight playing games ;)

and hello! :)
That might be fun, so long as the elephants keep their mouths shut and don't start complaining that they want to play.
Bad enough being so tired without having to share on top of it.

Microsoft quality right there. New operating system? New bugs by the boatload to contend with.

Well aside from that and the infuriating tracking stuff (but hey all the big companies do that...even spotify starts with it) it usually runs really fast and stable.

AgentBirdnest: I guess so... Doesn't seem worth it to me. Maybe a couple months down the line they will be able to enter some giveaways that they have a pretty small chance of winning if the host doesn't check to see how active they are on the forums... Seems like a lot of work for a really slim chance at a reward to me.
Well don't forget about the key drop threads like the Ninja Giveaway threads...but other than that i agree.

Crewdroog: thanks, I will :)
Good :)

And the world gets a little closer to looking like something out of a bad cyberpunk novel. Only, we don't get the fun stuff like bionics in our lifetimes, just corporations trying to stick their noses in everything a person does.

Yeah, it's a good game. Just don't want to speed through it without enjoying it. Downside of the backlog from hell - the constant urge to go, go, go rather than taking your time.

Yes. And corporations that more powerful than states....but exactly that is the reason i got interested in using Linux in the first place...
I'd say ignore your backlog for a moment, That game's is worth doing that :)

moonshineshadow: That is a really good question. I don't know why they make so much effort for something like this.
*big you belong to the cool group hug*
*stops trying to blend in and just acts like my Agent-y self*
*and gives Moon and extra big hug* :-)

CarrionCrow: No such thing as the cool group. Just decent people talking.

Good afternoon. =)

No idea. Once I got past my usual quietness shifting to saying pretty much whatever the hell I want, that was it.
The number on the side goes up or down, but doesn't matter so long as you aren't being such a shithead.
*tips helmet*
Very excellent points. I can't imagine the "usual quiet" Crow though ;-p

With more compatibility, I'd go that route. But I'm a little too deep in stockpiling in terms of both time and money to get stuck trying to rework it all now.

Agreed. Also, figuring it's going to be the last Shadowrun for a while unless Harebrained Schemes has a large enough crew to cover two big game developments at once.

-laughs- That's generally the one that watches but doesn't talk. It happens, but not often.

Argh... I need a bigger kitchen... or I need to stop buying more kitchen stuff.

Yes. That's indeed still a problem but it got considerably better in the last years both in terms of games. But i also have lots of games and also other software which don't run (natively) on LInux (haven't tried WINE thus far). That's why i won't give up Windows completely...

Well i don't think this is a bad thing as much as i like the Shadowrun games.

Are you a gadget addict? ;)

It's going to take a while, but the compatibility rate should rise. Microsoft does a good job helping whenever they screw up and drive more people away.

It isn't. Three Shadowrun games in, I'd much rather have the first Battletech in 10+ years before getting the fourth game in the series. They'll make a lot of money so long as they stick to their usual product quality, and it's better to have one focused project than two mediocre ones.

Not really, but I love cooking and baking and if you want to do some things you need the proper tools. But my kitchen is tiny. Heck I just bought a cake plate with cover since I was tired of putting the cakes on my pizza plates... but now I am wondering where I should store it...

-laughs- Couldn't help it, when you said that I thought of my roommates. One of them is a gadget addict to an insane degree, to the point that they have crap piled up they haven't used in years.

Buy some hooks, hang it from the ceiling like a pot and pan rack? Course, depending on the height, you might end up smacking your head into it instead...

Certainly and the fun things that MS is apparently one of the top supporters of Linux (i guess due to the dominance of Linux in server environments but nonetheless funny). It also helps that many well known Linux distros are pretty easy to install and handle nowadays (hell i needed Windows PowerShell more often than Terminal recently....).

I agree. Otherwise there might be the risk of ruining the series by constantly continuing the series without a break. Hang on...did someone say Assassin's Creed? ;)
But yes i hope that the'll continue to produce less but high quality games.

That feels like lip service. They can say they're supportive, but I'll bet you they're more than ready to chop out all competition. They prefer monopolies.

I didn't. Never did get into the first one, let alone entries 2 through 15 in the series. Prime example of taking an IP and running it into the ground. Them having it linked to their Uplay abortion isn't exactly helpful, either.
Hi guys, how are you all?

I went to check out that apartment tonight but I didn't get it. To be honest, I'm not real torn up about it, as the other people who were living in the building were really not my type of person and apparently they have forced social gatherings. Also, they didn't actually allow me to look at the apartment, so I was forced to make a decision based on nothing, really. Overall I didn't get the best vibe from the place so perhaps it's for the best that I didn't get it.
