I think that might actually be a game I'd want multiplayer for. Certainly wouldn't mind scorching some thread regulars in a game. (In a playfully competitive way only, of course. >=) )

Just found an interview and they're going with the early part of the series. That should be fun, the era where one bad shot could send your entire Mech up like a lit powder keg if someone pops your ammo storage along with the standard problem of getting your head popped if someone gets lucky.

Goddamn, I want that game.

And don't forget it is also weekend, things always slow down then.

Wish I could be of help, but I go with the straight product. Less chance of feeling silly after I start screaming about something only to find out mod incompatibility caused the problem or some such crap.

From what I've seen or played, a suggestion would be to try the Eye of the Beholder pack if you find the second collection's graphics a bit too antiquated to get into. It might drive you up a wall, but those titles do have a much improved appearance over Pool of Radiance or Curse of the Azure Bonds.

Idly wondering how difficult it must be for some to engage in basic manners and pleasantries.

For a moment, I considered that maybe it's a language barrier for some. Even so, an effort could be put forth to say something of token substance, even if it's presented in a way that's unfamiliar.
