ElTerprise: Amen to that. That's why i generally don't read much from game media sites. Most of the articles are clickbaits and i don't trust their reviews...there is no way that (rail) shooters like Call of Duty are objectively that good...
It's a shame that those site usually tend forget about those classic games and aside from Witcher GOG isn't mentioned that often either....
And it was the Witcher (1) that got me here after all and i also had to do some research about a lot of classic games here because those are largely ignored indeed......
Yeah, I don't read much of the media stuff either. So much of it is crap that there's no interest. Think I read more of Rock Paper Shotgun than anything else, but even that doesn't have me clicking there and checking it out every day.
Would agree, the reviews generally feel off, so I don't go by those. Most of my game purchasing process boils down to gut feeling, and it tends to work pretty well. Granted, my gut also tells me to pick up games I know will be horrible, since it's an asshole, but it only does that out of malice towards me, not because it's lying to make money for people.
