I wonder if there's something deeper going on inside of humanity that hints towards gender that we're not cognitively aware of. I wonder also if gender-y languages share the genders of words for many of their words (like Spanish, Greek and German, for instance).

I can only talk about German and French. And while some words have the same gender, there are an equal amount of words that have the opposite gender. And of course then there is the fact that German also has a neutral gender which does not exist in French.
The chat is just broken....[insert random German swearing].....

Tallima: As for the colour thing (Google really doesn't like me writing colour :D), I do something similar. But I assign genders to things that have no gender. Vowels are girls, consonants are boys. Y is that girlish boyish girlish.... You just can't tell. and Q. He's a ladies' man. Always got a vowel hanging off one arm.
[and more...]
Hahaha :-D
I've never thought about that before. That's really fascinating...
Now I want to see a language with ROYGBIV endings. You would have to write words with crayons and perhaps use different notes to sing words.

You would have beautiful arpeggio sentences with red, yellow, blue, red word sentences.

It's sort of neat ROYGBIV has the same number as we have musical notes. My mind is currently blowing itself (in as much of a non-sexualized way as your hugs). Perhaps some people see things as musical notes and objects in a room create a song -- either delightful, disturbing or perhaps just annoying.

It used to work for me but currently it's pretty fubar....
Finally got everything typed up and...well....goddamn is the first word that comes to mind.
Here's a company that I wish was still around, so that the heavy hitters AMD and Nvidia had more competition.

-laughs- Yeah, that's true. Stopped having any hope of the final result not being insane after page 10 or so.

Hey. Have you seen that one: https://www.gog.com/forum/crypt_of_the_necrodancer/wheres_the_linux_version/post4
It's an explanation why there's no LInux of Crypt of the Necrodancer....apparently we need Galaxy on Linux first

At least you got through all the stuff. I don't even want to know what I spent :D

Breaking down the numbers, it's both better and worse than expected. The number by itself is large enough to inflict initial sticker shock. Breaking it down per month, per purchase, and pitting it against the cost of buying everything at retail price takes the sting out a bit.

Well, you've bought less personally and gifted more, I'm sure. Stacked all mine together and it was substantial. Wouldn't be surprised if yours was a bit smaller considering that.

Would you say as a result it worth doing that then?
