Out of curiosity: Is AVG Free bloated with stuff like Avast lately? LIke Browser-Addon and useless clean up-tools and they push you towards Chrome? Don't get me wrong. Avast works fine for me for years but it gets more and more annoying...

It offers a few extras but usually just answering 'no thank you' is all you have to do.
The program itself is still pretty light and not resource heavy.

But only when you install it right? Because Avast does that even after installation.

Mine pops up something every couple of weeks maybe. I've been using it for so long I can't say I really even notice them though.
You CAN decline a number of un-needed options at install yes. I've installed it AT LEAST 1000 times for customers so I'm pretty much on 'auto-pilot' when I do it. :-)

Is anyone else having problems with the site? It's getting a little annoying how often this seems to happen lately. The site just keeps freezing and refuses to load, not to mention the chat not really working at all.

I haven't had any trouble, but LaPtiteBete was complaining about GOGbears earlier.
