So my nook was giving me some frustration, basically the B&N shop (which I don't use) was unavailable as were all the stock online capabilities of the device (which I don't need).
Still it irked me that I couldn't use them and they'd stopped working, "just because". Even if they were about as useful as a handbrake on a canoe. It might be rubbish but it's
my rubbish. So I set about restoring them. And followed the most straightforward method, a factory reset.
Turns out that factory reset is to be taken literally. The device did a complete reinstallation of its OS, leaving it as pristine as the moment it rolled out of the assembly line, and it obliterated every little thing I'd done to it. Thus, I was left with a locked, unrooted device once more.
So I spent the afternoon rooting and installing apps on it. And now my little e-reader is back better than ever.
And the B&N shop that I don't use is accessible once more.
ElTerprise: You mean 1849...i actually overlooked that one and frankly i'm not that interested in that one although i usually those type of sims.
And it's not a real "new" release....
I thought you wouldn't like it, you probably have too many teeth for it.
