tinyE: Anyone here play sports games on their PC? I feel the need to get back into them but I have totally lost track of what is good out there. XD This is oddly one of the few genres that can consistently get worse and worse as they improve. :P
Does Mirror's Edge count? :-p
Sorry...

EndreWhiteMane: Other than some nasty stomach troubles like you things are OK.
Got a good bit of rain last night, that's a very good thing.
Just being lazy today as usual. :-)
Like me on all three counts!
Hopefully both of us will start feeling better :-)

Right now a lazy cat is resting on a lazy Agent... creating 3 total units of laziness u__u

Well depends on what sports games you want to play. But from the football / soccer side imho the games got worse over the last years...

I used to play baseball games on the console, but I tired of them after one or two iterations. It was either too much like baseball and no matter what I did, I couldn't hit or I'd turn off all the "hit stick" stuff and I was just pushing one button to have the game decide if I'd get a hit. OR all realism was turned off and it would be home run derby time.

None of the options were very fun. I did enjoy defense / pitching at times though.

I have one iteration of Madden for my x360.
It was good. I still play it from time to time. It is a sportsgame that you can't play as easily in real life as soccer.
But I have no intention of buying any further iterations. The rules of the game just never change so why bother :D
Talking about sports game remind me of the old Anstoss games from Ascaron ....*sigh*
Yay,I was able to control myself.
Yesterday I saw X-COM remake for only 20 Reais and brand new. I thought to myself:"I have already to many games I will not buy another one".

What's wrong with playing sports games?
I had a weird dream about a next week's Gog release of Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines and Stubbs the Zombie in Rebel Without a Pulse .

Yes. Thought the same. And it's a game that was never released in Germany for obvious reasons....
