ElTerprise: Good evening DD *big hug*
Long time no see :D
Doing pretty good here and i'm looking forward to the Terraria session :).
What about you?

Oh and ANNO :D
Good evening! *return hug*

I was here for a little bit this morning just to check in, and I am here for a quick visit now while I wait for my partner to get back from her plotting (she is planning something but I am not allowed to know what).

I imagine you are all looking forward to it. Hopefully it will work perfectly and you will all have lots of fun.

I am doing good, things did not go too well with the specialist (the nerve damage is possible more severe than they thought, as it should not be as bad as it is still) and I now need to give myself injections twice a day, and still in a lot of pain and discomfort, but things are slowly starting to improve. Nothing really to complain about. I get to spend the whole week with my partner, so how can I complain. :-)

I am not sure I would like Anno. I have never really been a big fan of city builder type games.

Are you liking the new releases?

moonshineshadow: Anno 1602. Awesome game. And the best in the whole Anno series in my opinion :D
I thought you would like it when I was looking as it as you seem to enjoy city builder type games. is it one you already owned, on a new addition to your collection? *quickly goes to check wishlist* Hmmm…. interesting. I see another new game on Moon's wishlist. But don't worry, I will be good and resist the urse to gift. For now. :-)

*big hug*

If you check my wishlist on the wiki you'll see that I only will buy it sometime as backup to my disked versions, so no need to go all ninja-gifting mode :D

I did not check the GOGWIki, so it is another game awaiting a digital backup. Does your old disc version still work on modern computers?

But I like going all ninja-gifting, it's so much fun. :-)

:D
Is Im Namen des Königs an official addon? Because apparently the Anno 1602 Königsedition only includes one expansion "Neue Inseln, neue Abenteuer"...

I have to admit I don't know if it runs on my Win7 computer, I never tested it. Whenever I wanted to play it I just started up my Win98/XP computer since it is installed there :D

Yep it is an official AddOn it was released almost at the same time as the Neue Inseln one. No idea about the Königsedition.

But a nice digital version would be a good addition just in case. :-)
It's nice to see so many people excited about the games, it seems once again I am clueless about the big games of yesteryear.

Are you all set for setting up Terraria? Do you have your cheats ready to make sure you win? :-)

*big hug* Sure digital backups are nice. That is why I put it on the backup list. But as long as I have the working originals there is no need to buy the game at full price :D

And yes, setting up everything at the moment. But no cheating.

Well i missed your first visit today because i was working and then donating blood :)
Hopefully. I already plugged in my laptop to have a wired connection for the game.

Glad to hear that although the condition of the nerve damage sounds a bit worrying. Hopefully it won't turn out as more severe :)

Well i like those type of games - and i escpecially like the Anno games :D
Imho the new releases are awesome. Albion is supposed to be a classic and Archimedean Dynasty is a good game too for what i've heard.

That's the big 'raspberry to the forehead' that makes people better and makes them laugh.
At least it used to work well on my daughter, I've used it here before too. :-)
Ok I sent everyone a chat message with the info for the server. If I forgot someone or someone else wants to join please tell me :-)

Of course no cheating. ;-)
(Can you even cheat at a Terraria co-op?)

No worries. I only popped in in case people wondered why I was away for a few days and to say that if I was away for the rest of the week it was just me enjoying the time with my partner and not because of anything bad.

I have another scan appointment just to double check. Even it if is a little worse it should not be permanent, it will just mean a little longer to heal.

I can see many people are excited about the new releases. I guess they hold a lot of nostalgia for many people, so it's great to have them on GOG.

Seems like you can because when starting the server there was an option to turn on cheat protection so I enabled it :D
