moonshineshadow: Yeah, we should probably hide somewhere :D
And I have to agree with you. Only watched part of the first new one, but it was so bad I stopped and never even tried watching the other two. And yes, the older one are nice films but I would not count them into the category off best films ever (also me liking them might have something to do with Harrison Ford *embaressed cough*)
*goes into hiding before SW nerds arrive*

ddickinson: I don't mind them for what they are, but this cult following they have has always been a mystery to me. What's this I hear about Harrison Ford? So you have a thing for Harrison Ford, does that mean you will be watching the new incarnations of Star Wars? As he is due to be in the first new move at least.

gunsynd: Bugga, sorry but that's my favorite weather.
avatar
ddickinson: I don't mind the winter weather, I'm used to it. Summer is my worst season. I love the sunny days and all the flowers and wildlife, but I'm not big on the heat. I would rather be cold and wet than too hot.
Summer is one of my pet hates, well seaside anyway too much humidity.Country summers are no problems..

I generally don't mind summer, I don't hate it or anything, it's just my least favourite, due to the heat. It's not usually too bad, as long as there is a nice breeze. I guess as I'm in the countryside I don't get it that bad, not as bad as built up cities. At least I get to wear some pretty dresses in summer :-).

I'll probably watch the beginning of the new Star Wars film once it is available for lending/streaming it. But if the beginning turns out as bad as the newer films I will not watch it, no matter who is playing in that film. There is no actor who can make me watch a bad or boring film.

Best times are spring and autumn when it is not cold but also not too hot. Just right :D

I agree, although I love all the snow in winter.

Ours are nothing like the summers Australia has (temperature wise), but we do have them. I know our temperatures are no where near as high as yours gets, but that's a good thing, for us at least. It's not nice to see all those forest fires that Australia keeps getting due to the heat.

I have not heard of firebugs before. Do they cause a lot of problems in Australia?

Really, they cause about 90% of our bush fires. Some have been caught but,one of the latest caught was actually a volunteer fire fighter..

At least I brought some cheer to your day. :-)

I did know about people starting forest fires in Australia, and in the USA as well. It's always really sad to hear when people died because of it. But I did not know 90% of bush fires in Australia was due to this.

Well maybe 90% is a bit high, but it's definitely the majority of fires are started by firebugs..

Even if it was low, it doesn't excuse the horrible act. Especially when it can destroys people's homes and even kills people.

Do they get charged with murder if you catch them?

Because of the stupid EU, the UK is often forced to give lesser sentences, due to all the crap legislation forced on us by the EU.
